The Merman of Lake Minnewanka, Banff Alberta
The Merman of Lake Minnewanka's remains can be found at the old Indian Trading Post in Banff Alberta, Canada. Before this one was captured in 1935, the Sioux people told stories of his existence. His was a cautionary tale, one that reminded us to be reverent in nature.

Life of a Metis Trapper - Part VI: Furs Fur-Trading & Beads
Life of a Metis Trapper - Part VI: Furs, Fur-Trading & Beads was recorded at Rocky Mountain House Historic Site in July 2014.
In 1799 the North West and Hudson's Bay companies set up rival posts at the end of the fur trade line on the North Saskatchewan River. Competition for trade was fierce at Rocky Mountain House, and during its 76-year history, nine different Aboriginal cultures came here to trade. Explorer, fur trader and mapmaker, David Thompson used the North West Company post as a base for finding a pass across the Rocky Mountains.

Costly Climate Change Policies in Alberta's Power Market will Impact Calgary
Friends of Science Society has issued two reports that question the cost-benefit of various aspects of Calgary's Climate Change policies. These are non-partisan reports and climate change issues go back to the 1990s in Calgary, long before any of the present administration. Our concern is that tax dollars should be best applied to serve the citizens of Calgary with their common infrastructure needs and essential needs like flood mitigation. We discuss the cumulative financial issues related to the addition of wind power in this video. We invite you to review our findings and draw your own conclusions.
