The St. Lucia Association of Registered Tents says calypso lovers can look forward to an exciting calypso season this year. The new body which replaces the Saint Lucia Calypso Association has put on one show so far for the season. Public feedback on that show is being used to begin planning subsequent performances. So unfortunately we have made the wrong move to try flying our Mavic at our villa which was a little crowded with trees but luckily enough the drone fell into the pool rather than the sea. We ended up buying 5 kilos of rice just to suck all the moisture out and thankfully it works again after 5 days!

This video is compilation of the limited footage following the accident featuring Rodney Bay beach, Anse Chastanet Beach where Jade Mountain Resort is situated, Soufriere and the iconic Piton Mountains. We stayed at the Crystals Hotel where we had one of the best stays of our lives. Imagine view of the Pitons from our bedroom and bathroom, afternoon dips in the private pool and cocktail hour every evening! On top of that, we have really enjoyed socialising with the owners of the hotel, Monica and Martin plus their super friendly dogs.

We would recommend this place in a heartbeat if you are after a unique and beautiful place to stay as featured in this video.
