I cant say enough about this place but I fell in love with it after my second hour here, which are documented and recorded here. I have talked to people who told me they fell in love after their second step hahaha. Lucky us to arrive during the sunset which is bright, red and warm.
The bungalows along the garden offer great patio views of the ocean and the sunsets as does the gazebo at the water front, particularly for all the hammocks there. At the close of every day you can always find weary souls who have hunkered down to experience the setting of the sun from the warm and relaxing sway of the hammock. Right next to the gazebo is the tattoo parlor which the manager inks himself.
Across the garden we pass by the pool and a myriad of other hammocks strung across just about every hangable surface on the grounds. As we move up to the reception hall/bar/living room/pool room we can hear the sounds of the resident DJ's serenading the evening meal and drink with the dying of the light. There are people from just about every corner of the earth here and some have been around for months, only having intended to stay for a few nights when they first arrived. Some are even on their second and third rounds back to the resort after having gone out to explore the rest of Thailand only to return to the happy place again. Good people. Good place.
