BANGKOK'S GRAND CENTRAL STATION | Hua Lamphong Bangkok Railway Station, Bangkok, Thailand
You'll feel like you've taken a step back in time if you visit Bangkok's Grand Central Station. Formerly known as Hua Lamphong Railway Station.
It is currently the main railway hub in Bangkok, connecting rural parts of Thailand to Bangkok.
If you are not planning on traveling anywhere by train. This is still a great place to visit if you are a tourist.
You will be amazed at the old structural building as well as the old trains that sit in the station.
If you do decide to take the train out to other parts of Thailand, it is very cheap. Depending on what class seats you buy and where you are traveling to of course.

Bangkok Hua Lamphong Train Station - With Destinations Throughout Thailand
Today I bring you with me to Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Train Station, where you can catch trains throughout Thailand. If you want to travel first class and have time the train is a good option. However, if you want to get somewhere fast you might want to catch a plane, as first class trains might cost as much as a plane ticket and in some cases even more. Railway station website info below. LOCAL TRAIN STATION & MARKET IN BANGKOK | Wongwian Yai Station, Bangkok, Thailand
Wongwian Yai Station is a local train station & market I found while on one of my expeditions.
What makes this local train station so special is the small markets in and around the station.
It seemed as though the vendors were packing when I was there so I can imagine how busy it would have been earlier.
This station has the essence of an old historical Thai train station in Bangkok, Thailand.
It's as picturesque as Hua Lamphong Station, the main train depot in Bangkok, Thailand.
I'm not quite sure where this station goes, but even if you don't catch the train here. It's well worth the visit.
HOW TO GET HERE
The BTS SILOM LINE and get off at WONGWIAN YAI BTS STATION. Walk along THANON KRUNG THON BURI (away from the Chao Phraya River).
CROSS THE ROAD, when you reach the big intersection and TURN RIGHT at SOMDET PHRA CHAO TAK SIN RD.
Walk all the way down until you see RIM THANG ROTFAI or the big sight on your left that says WONG WIAN YAI STATION. You won't miss.
Good luck & safe travels.

BANGKOK TO AYUTTHAYA BY TRAIN | Thailand travel vlog
We spent the morning on an awesome local train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya in 3rd class. It was wicked to experience it with the locals and see a bit of the Thai countryside.
The train departed Hua Lamphong Station and arrived at Ayutthaya Railway Station station in 2 hours. For 15 THB we thought it was a bargain.

How to go to Chinatown Bangkok by MRT and Bus from Hualamphong Station
In this video you will know how to reach to Chinatown Bangkok by using public transportation MRT and Bus. I started my journey firstly by MRT (Matro) Station Sukhumvit to Hualamphong. Then I took local bus from Hualamphong. I have tried to explain in detail how to get to the bus stop at Hualamphong where you can get bus no. 40. These buses no. 40 starts from here and you will surely find 3-4 buses waiting for their turn. Take any 40 number bus and tell them, you want to go to Chinatown. They all know it. Non-Ac Red buses cost 9 THB and Yellow Ac Buses cost 13 THB to China Town.
If you want to explore the area fully, it is advisable to go via walk from Hualamphong to Chinatown. It's just 15 minutes walk.
