Bang Pu, also known as Bang Pu Recreation Center is a seaside resort on the Bay of Bangkok belonging to Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province, central Thailand.
A drive from Bangkok to Samut Prakan, mainly Bangpu is only about 37 Kilometers, which is less than a 1.3 hour drive. The area is also highly recommended to visit after visiting the Ancient City of Samut Prakan for a cool wind down from the activities spent in the Ancient City.

A Visit at Bangpu Recreation Center in Samut Prakan which was found by the former Prime Minister Plaek Pibulsonkram in 1937. It was purposed to be a Place for Vacations because it's so close to Bangkok.

DIRECTIONS: The most easy and convenient way to reach this destination is to take a BTS skytrain and stop at 'Kheha' station. Head exit and grab a taxi and Google BANGPU RECREATION CENTER. Click the Google Image and show the pics to the taxi drivers they will easily recognize. It will cost you approximately 80 baht if there is no traffic.

Bang Pu Recreation Center Royal Thai Army 是泰國皇家陆军的軍用娱乐休閒中心 ，以前 只接待軍人， 不過現在已經全面開放給民眾參觀。
只有在冬季到春季， 也就是每年的11 月到3 月， 成千只的海鷗就會為了過冬， 遷徒來到曼谷BANG PU這裡溫暖的海岸。
來BANGPU看海鷗的最佳時間是傍晚時分。 入場免費。

成千隻的海鷗就會為了過冬，遷徒到這裡
很幸運這次來曼谷剛好是可以見到牠們的時間
人生第一次離海鷗那麼近，還一次那麼多隻
太 酷 了！！
牠們為了食物會飛離你很近
一開始不習慣真的會被驚嚇到
但牠們不會傷害人，大家不用怕哈哈哈哈哈
（結果我怕成那樣？）
食物用拋丟上去，牠們也超聰明的接到
還會在你頭上盤旋等你丟給牠！
推薦大家一定要來親眼看看這絕世美景
傍晚還可以賞美麗的夕陽！

BLOODY COCKLES & SEAGULLS!! Bangkok's Best sunset & fresh seafood Bangpu Recreation Center
We just went to the area outskirt of Bangkok called ‘Bangpu‘. To be exact, we went to ‘Bangpu Recreation Center (สถานตากอากาศบางปู)‘ located in Samut Prakan province (จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ).
Briefly, here's what you can enjoy being there: Eat crabs, Watch birds, Dance, Walk a mangrove, Stay in a beautiful resort.
I went there for the seagulls! So many of them for you to hang out with while enjoying one of the best sunset spots in town!
Besides that, real fresh seafood without costing yourself an arm and a leg at Sala Sukjai Restaurant (ร้านอาหารศาลาสุขใจ). Raw shrimps, cockles, squid with its roe and pure crab meat.
It was an exciting visit! I didn't know idea there's this beautiful nature / beach like this so close to Bangkok.

Hundreds of seagulls at the Bang Pu Recreation Centre, or Bangpu Nature Education Centre, in the Bang Pu district of Samut Prakan, Thailand.
The coolest Pier in Thailand must see!, Bangpu Recreation Center.
This is a pier that is on the outskirts of Bangkok near the Ancient city. I really recommend as you can see the the awesome mangrove ecology and its a very short drive to see the ocean. You can even feed seagulls and there is even a restaurant you can eat at.

Cách Trung tâm Băng Cốc khoảng 19km, thuộc Samut Prakan. Để đến BangPu rất đơn giản, bắt BTS đến Trạm Kheha (Trạm cuối cùng), rồi xuống đường bắt taxi/grab (mất khoảng 100bath) hoặc bắt Songthaew số 36 (mất 20bath) đi khoảng 9km nữa, xuống xe taxi/songthaew, sang đường rồi đi bộ một đoạn là đến cảng.

This place is really nice and good for relaxing. If you wanna see the birds(Seagull) flying, you should come here on the winter, Best in November. You can take pictures, buy food and feed Seagull.
I suggest that you should be there in late afternoon.
