HadesOmega Visits Banjo Falls in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan
This is a video I shot when I visited Banjo Falls at Banjo no Tani Campground in Shizuoka Prefecture on the Izu Peninsula of Japan. The closest town was called Tokurano. After riding Izu Skyline Road, I was riding through the countryside and saw signs for Banjo no Tani Falls. I figured I would go check it out and score easily accessible waterfall! I didn't need to hike like 10 miles to see it. There's also 2 smaller falls on the way there. Check it out!
Also Banjo no Tani is a campground, so if you are in Japan looking to go camping this looks like a good place. =)
Oh yah that beetle thing is a restroom just in case your wondering. =P

Stormy Weather in Itō
I was on a nostalgia trip down the Izu Peninsula, which I had fallen in love with on my initial visit to Japan in 1970. But I'd not timed it well, and found myself heading into a typhoon. First stop was Itō, a city located on the eastern shore of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture,. I arrived to find the town with its shutters up, the streets and waterfront deserted and the shopping arcades empty, but for a couple of kindly coffee shops open to those willing to venture out into the storm.

One sunny day to visit this amazing Zoologic Carden with their very lazy white tigers. On the way the driver turned out attention to the special Vasabi Fields - this very hot green Japanese raifort -. The country song is performed by my good old friend CW Tanner. Thanks for your music!!
