Ferry from Croatia to Italy travel vlog from Dubrovnik to Bari
Come join us as we take an overnight ferry from Croatia to Italy departing from Dubrovnik and arriving in Bari in this travel vlog. Aside from our overnight ferry our journey which started in Budva, Montenegro included bus trips and a train ride to get to our final destination of Matera, Italy. It ended up being a long journey but surprisingly we felt refreshed especially by having a chance to sleep overnight on the ferry. If you're considering taking the ferry from Croatia to Italy or Italy to Croatia we'd highly recommend it.

Ferry from Croatia to Italy travel vlog from Dubrovnik to Bari Video Transcript:
Alright guys good morning. Good morning. It is time for a very long long travel day ahead us. Yeah. Want to tell us what is the plan for today? Well, this is going to be our longest travel vlog we've ever created. We're going to be going to three countries. We're going to be taking the bus, then we're going to be taking an overnight ferry and then we're going to be taking another bus. So basically of yeah we're heading from first off we're heading from Budva, Montenegro to Dubrovnik, Croatia by bus. I think that is going to be about a three hour journey. Yeah. And then we're going to be waiting for a few hours and boarding an overnight ferry and that is going to be really cool. We've never done that before. We've never done an overnight ferry. No. Yeah, so we're going to be going from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Bari, Italy by ferry. Right. And it is overnight. It is going to be a ten hour journey. Yeah. And then once we arrive we're trying to reach Matera. Yes. Which actually I looked it up yesterday it is about an hour by bus. Okay. I had said 30 minutes. It is not 30 minutes. We haven't booked tickets for that so we'll be booking that bus ticket and kind of winging it. But yeah, we'll show you the whole journey and we'll talk about the prices and we'll show you what we eat along the way. So we're really looking forward to this. It is going to be a long vlog. So uh buckle up and let's get going. Let's go.
Well guys our food has arrived. We are eating at what is the name of this place? I always forget. This place is called Taboo and we ate here when we first arrived in Budva because it was too early to check in to our apartment. Yeah. So I got myself some kind of panini with prosciutto, tomato, cheese, lettuce, fries and Sam got himself pizza. Yeah, thin crust pizza. Yeah. So it looks good. How is it? The fries are good. I haven't tried the sandwich yet.
But it looks nice. Yeah, covered in sesame seeds. One thing I have to say is uh compared to Croatia and Bosnia the food that we had in Montenegro was a pretty big step down. Haha. In terms of like it just we didn't find that many restaurants that we loved. Yeah. I think our best meal was the one we had on that day trip (to Perast). Do you remember? Pasta. That is right. Perast. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. But this is like you know this place is I would say has okay food. Yeah. Um, good prices. It is like International food. Yeah. Stuff you could find anywhere. Pastas, pizzas, sandwiches but there is nothing like super local or traditional. Yeah but it is fine. We need a snack before we get on the bus. This works.

Salvatore Colasberna, presidente di una piccola cooperativa edilizia di S., una mattina viene ucciso con due colpi di lupara mentre sta per salire sull’autobus diretto a Palermo. All’omicidio hanno assistito molte persone, ma nessuno è disposto a testimoniare. Le indagini sono dirette dal capitano Bellodi, comandante della compagnia Carabinieri di C. “Emiliano di Parma”, ex partigiano, ha scelto di fare l’ufficiale dei Carabinieri invece che l’avvocato per servire e far rispettare la legge della Repubblica, sorta dalla “rivoluzione” cui ha partecipato. Grazie a una lettera anonima, scritta da un fratello di Colasberna, Bellodi decide di indagare nel settore degli appalti e dell’associazione criminale che li controlla, ossia la mafia
In Sicily, the truck driver Salvatore Colasberna is murdered while delivering a load of cement to a highway construction project. The murder takes place within sight and earshot of the house of Rosa Nicolosi and her husband. Police captain Bellodi hears that there may be irregularities in the construction of the highway that amount to corruption. He is also told that Rosa has loose morals, though she denies it strenuously and claims that she has been faithful to her husband. Bellodi is unable to determine whether Colasberna was murdered because he stumbled onto a corruption racket or because he was a lover of Rosa, and was shot by her husband, who disappeared after the murder. Another possibility is that Nicolosi saw the murderer and was also murdered, or went into hiding fearing for his life.
In einem kleinen Ort auf Sizilien wird ein Lkw-Fahrer auf offener Straße erschossen. Capitano Bellodi, gerade von Norditalien nach Sizilien versetzt, übernimmt den Fall. Es handelt sich bei dem Ermordeten um einen Bauunternehmer, der sich weigerte, mit der Mafia zusammenzuarbeiten. Ein weiterer Mann, welcher sich zum Zeitpunkt des Geschehens in der Nähe befindet, verschwindet.
Während der Ermittlungen werden Bellodi falsche Spuren gelegt. Es wird der Eindruck erweckt, als handle es sich um einen Mord aus Eifersucht. Rosa Nicolosi, die Ehefrau des Verschwundenen, wird mit Verleumdungen in der Bevölkerung zur Hauptverdächtigen erklärt, da sie eine Affäre mit dem Bauunternehmer gehabt haben soll. Doch Bellodi traut diesen Spuren nicht. Er weiß, dass der Mörder innerhalb der Mafia zu suchen ist. Bei weiteren Ermittlungen stößt er aber selbst bei Kollegen auf großen Widerstand. Zeugen verschwinden, niemand will die Omertà, das Schweigegebot, brechen.

Rapallo
Rapallo is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Genoa and has 30,000 inhabitants. This beautiful area is part of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino. The first settlement dates from the 8th century BC, and is not yet clarified if it was Etruscan or Greek.
Friedrich Nietzsche wrote that the ideas for Zarathustra first came to him while walking on two roads surrounding Rapallo. During the 16th century it was attacked and sacked by the Ottomans and Barbary pirates. To help defend the village against such attacks a castle was built on the seafront.

Basilica of San Gervasio e Protasio. Consecrated in 1118 and has a leaning bell tower.
Torre Civica. Marks the skylike of Rapallo.
Castello sul Mare (Castle-on-the-Sea). It was erected in 1551.

Useful tips:
Do it like the Italians: rent a Fiat 500 convertible! Small, fast, stylish and convenient.
Prefer an accommodation in Rapallo. A cheaper alternative, while it's a fun and vibrant city!
Parking in Italy. In Portofino's main parking you will pay 11.50 EUR for 2 hours. In Rapallo there is a free zone parking at the marina. Otherwise, there are plenty of parking meters and private parking spaces.
Autostrada toll fees. Using the main motorways, means paying toll. From Genoa to Rapallo, the cost is about 13 EUR.

I was invited by my great food friend David ( with Sir Panwa hotel in Phuket to come for one of the greatest food pop-ups ever in Thailand. The first night we had sushi by Master Chef Hiroyuki Sato, and it was by far the most amazing sushi meal omakase experience I’ve ever had. The next night was Kobe beef night, and along with a selection of the best wagyu cuts, the highlight of the night was a giant hunk of Kobe Beef A5, the top of the best.
But before the Kobe beef evening started, we first spent some time during the day at Sri Panwa. I took a few swims, had breakfast, and then for lunch we went into Phuket town with David and the chefs, and at the legendary Raya Restaurant. The food is quite good, and you’ll find Phuket style southern Thai food there.
Wagyu Mafia - Wagyu Mafia were the stars of the event. And they are originally Kobe beef dealers, so they know the best cuts of beef and the best farmers. Now they have a members restaurants in Tokyo as well, but still deal in the best wagyu beef. They brought a selection of wagyu beef from Japan including a $3000 (that’s the wholesale price, probably lots more at a restaurant), Kobe beef A5 (which is the best of the best) ribeye. It was one of the most insanely delicious things I’ve ever tasted in my life.

Biz Ocak 2019'da Almanya'ya Blue Card (Mavi Kart) çalışma vizesi ile gelen bir çiftiz. Birimiz Elektrik Elektronik Mühendisi, diğerimiz ise İnşaat Mühendisiyiz. Türkiye'de doğmuş büyümüş insanlar olarak yıllar içerisinde Türkiye'de edindiğimiz tecrübeler ışığında bir süredir Almanya'da yaşıyoruz. Bu sebeple Türkiye'de doğmuş büyümüş insanların da bakış açısından Almanya'da yaşamın nasıl olduğunu anlatmaya, burada edindiğimiz tecrübeleri sizlere aktarmaya çalışıyoruz. Özellikle Almanca bilmeden ve hiçbir tanıdığımız olmadan göç ettiğimiz için yaşadığımız zorlukların hepsini geldiğimizden beri kendimiz çözmek durumunda kaldık. Bu sebepten de edindiğimiz tecrübeleri Almanya'ya göç etmek isteyen, Almanya'daki yaşamı merak eden veya yeni göç etmiş insanlara elimizden geldiğinde anlatmaya çalışıyoruz. Anlatmaya çalıştığımız süreçlerin tamamını ve ihtiyacınız olacak bilgileri sadece tecrübelere dayanarak değil aynı zamanda resmi kurumların yayınladığı mevzuatlar, kanunlar, tüzükler ve hatta meclis tutanaklarına kadar inceleyerek sizlere anlatmaya çalışıyoruz. Doğru bilgi vererek Almanya'ya göç etmek veya Almanya'da yaşamak isteyen insanlara harcadıkları zamanların karşılığını vermek istiyoruz.

Born in Villafalletto in 1934 into a family of doctors and veterinarians, Renato Ratti graduated from the School of Oenology and Viticulture of Alba.
From 1955 to 1965 he worked for Cinzano in Brazil, contributing - with revolutionary techniques - to the birth of viticulture in the dry Sertão region. When he returned to Italy, he settled his winery right below the ancient Abbey of San Martino di Marcenasco, in La Morra, the heart of the Barolo production area.
Here he started a pioneering project based on the concept of “cru” (which will lead to the creation of a famous map of the vineyards) and he perfected an innovating and inspiring technique to make wine from the Nebbiolo grapes.
As president of the Barolo Consortium he participa-
ted in the drafting of the Docg regulations; as director of the Asti Consortium he was protagonist of the historical agreement between wine-growers and great sparkling wine makers.
He was the first wine maker to hold conferences for the ICE (the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade); he wrote manuals about wine tasting; but, most of all, he created the “Ratti Wines of Alba Museum”, demonstrating that wine is, in the first place, a cultural factor.
Struck by a sudden illness, Renato Ratti died in 1988, at the age of 54. Using undisclosed archival materials and oral evidence from people who met him, “Renato Ratti.
The innovator of Barolo” reconstructs the extra-ordinary human and professional path of an authentic founding father, thanks to whom the italian wine stepped into future for good.

Nato a Villafalletto nel 1934 da una famiglia di medici e veterinari, diplomato alla Scuola Enologica di Alba, Renato Ratti ha lavorato come tecnico della Cinzano in Brasile dal 1955 al 1965, contribuendo – grazie all’ausilio di tecniche rivoluzionarie – alla nascita della viticoltura nelle regioni aride del Sertão.
Tornato in Italia, insedia una cantina presso la millenaria Abbazia di San Martino di Marcenasco, a La Morra, cuore della zona di produzione del Barolo.
Qui inizia a lavorare pionieristicamente sul concetto di “cru”(opera che si tradurrà in una celebre mappa dei vigneti) e mette a punto un metodo di vinificazione moderna delle uve nebbiolo destinato a fare scuola.
Da presidente del Consorzio del Barolo partecipa alla stesura del disciplinare della Docg, come direttore del Consorzio dell’Asti è protagonista dello storico accordo interprofessionale tra viticoltori e grandi case spumantistiche.
È il primo a tenere
conferenze all'estero per l'ICE (Istituto Commercio Estero), scrive guide sul vino e manuali di degustazione, ma soprattutto crea il Museo Ratti dei Vini d’Alba, dimostrando che il vino è anzitutto un fattore culturale.
Colto da una malattia improvvisa, Renato Ratti muore nel 1988, a 54 anni. Attraverso inediti materiali d’archivio e le testimonianze di chi lo ha conosciuto, “Renato Ratti.
L’innovatore del Barolo” ricostruisce la straordinaria parabola professionale e umana di un autentico padre fondatore, grazie alla cui opera il vino italiano è entrato definitivamente nel futuro.

LA FIB CREDE NEGLI ISTITUTI ALBERGHIERI E PROMUOVE IL CAMPIONATO ITALIANO BARMAN 2013
Anche quest'anno la Federazione Italiana Barman ha organizzato, presso la 33° Mostra Convegno Tirreno CT 2013 complesso fieristico di Carrara il 13° Campionato Italiano Barman premio Marò Loiacono riservato agli allievi meritevoli delle classi terze degli Istituti Alberghieri. Gli Istituti partecipanti quest'anno erano sedici provenienti dal Nord, Centro e Sud. Ogni allievo, sostenendo due gare, ha dovuto competere con un alunno di un'altra scuola sulla preparazione di due Cocktail Internazionali codificati I.B.A. selezionati dalla Commissione organizzatrice. Il punteggio più alto delle due gare permetteva al concorrente di continuare la sfida proseguendo nel tabellone.
Regista di questa fortuna kermesse giunta al tredicesimo anno è il consigliere Tommaso Losavio con la supervisione del Presidente Roberto Giannelli.
Queste iniziative sono fondamentali per dare sprono e fiducia ai giovani. E colgo l'occasione per ricordare il punto di Aldo Bassoni direttore della rivista «Nuovo consumo» che afferma quanto segue per risanare un'economia malata che condanna i giovani alla disoccupazione, proprio dai giovani bisogna ripartire, puntando su energie sane e più fresche e sul lavoro. I giovani sono il futuro e occorre dare loro le opportunità per mostrare le capacità intellettive e professionali. La Federazione Italiana Barman ha accolto questo messaggio e ogni anno superando numerose difficoltà senza il supporto delle case liquoristiche organizza il Campionato Italiano Barman, dove gli unici protagonisti sono i giovani allievi degli Istituti Alberghieri. La preparazione degli allievi è stata soddisfacente con ottimi presupposti per la nascita dei futuri Commis di Bar, dove in ognuno di loro traspariva l'emozione, il tremore nel prendere la bottiglia come avviene di solito ai grandi professionisti. Questi sono i giovani che vogliono emergere ed avere un ruolo da protagonisti in una società distratta e quasi sempre non in sintonia con il loro linguaggio. Gli allievi partecipanti alla kermesse hanno dimostrato di avere una buona tecnica di miscelazione allietando il pubblico che con ammirazione applaudiva nell'osservare con quanta bravura e sicurezza utilizzava lo shaker e il mixing glass utensili fondamentali a un vero barman.
Quest'anno la FIB ha tenuto un master di Latte Art tenuto dal barman Manuel Sakay. Nel salutare i docenti e gli alunni presenti, il Presidente Roberto Giannelli ha sottolineato che Gli Istituti Alberghieri, devono avere un ruolo di centralità nella formazione tecnico culturale dei futuri operatori del settore Sala e Bar. Noi come associazione crediamo in questo progetto presente da tredici anni e confrondantoci con i docenti degli Istituti alberghieri sappiamo di una realtà scolastica indebolita dalle varie riforme che hanno cancellato in parte la tipicità di una scuola impegnata nel formare i futuri commis di bar, i futuri commis de rang, i futuri addetti al front office. Questa è una realtà ben delineata con un suo percorso chiaro e preciso. Quindi, termina il Presidente Roberto Giannelli, il nostro impegno, il nostro know how e la nostra passione ci vedono ogni anno protagonisti con i docenti e gli allievi degli Istituti Alberghieri in una performance per noi eccezionale. Eccezionali sono gli allievi che si emozionano e ci regalano tanta emozione nel vederli sul palco alle prese con shaker e mixing glass come se fossero dei barman professionisti.

In today’s video, we’re taking you to Athens!
Home to gods, goddesses and enough temples to house them all, the Greek capital is the place to get a glimpse of Ancient Greece.
This was our second time visiting the city, but with only 3 days, we decided to focus on the highlights. For us, that meant ancient ruins, lots of greek food, and a lookout point or two to catch the city looking her best right around sunset.
Let’s begin with the main attraction and a place that has dominated the city skyline for millennia: the Acropolis.
Contrary to popular belief, the Acropolis is not one single building, but rather, an ancient citadel which holds a few different structures.
The archaeological site is lined with ancient theatres, altars and temples, and once you reach the top, there are two places that will catch your eye.
The first is the Parthenon, an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.
The other, is the Erechtheum, another temple that was dedicated to both Athena and Poseidon. It’s hard to miss its Porch of the Maidens, with its six draped female figures acting as support columns.
it was just a short walk over to the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
Construction of this temple began in the 6th century BC and it wouldn’t be completed until the reign of Hadrian in the 2nd century AD.
It took about 638 years to build this temple, but it would have been the largest temple in Greece and one of the most impressive constructions of the ancient world.
While in Athens, we also climbed Mount Lycabettus.
This is a rather steep hill that rises 300 meters above sea level, and it’s a nice place to catch sunset over Athens.
As a travel tip: there is a funicular to take you up and down the hill if you want to save your legs!

A conscientious factory worker gets his finger cut off by a machine. Although the physical handicap is not serious, the accident causes him to become more involved in political and revolutionary groups.
Ludovico Massa, detto Lulù, è un operaio di 31 anni con due famiglie da mantenere (una composta dalla ex moglie e suo figlio, l'altra dalla sua nuova compagna e il figlio di lei) e con alle spalle già 15 anni di lavoro presso la fabbrica B.A.N., due intossicazioni da vernice e un'ulcera. Stakanovista e sostenitore del lavoro a cottimo, grazie al quale, lavorando a ritmi infernali, riesce a guadagnare abbastanza da permettersi l'automobile e altri beni di consumo, Lulù è amato dai padroni, che lo utilizzano come modello per stabilire i ritmi ottimali di produzione, e odiato dai colleghi operai per il suo eccessivo servilismo.
Der Film handelt von einem vorbildlichen Fabrikarbeiter, der durch einen Schicksalsschlag dazu gezwungen wird, sein Leben zu überdenken und sich schließlich der Arbeiterbewegung anschließt. Als er seine Aktivität in der Gewerkschaft zu sehr in den Vordergrund stellt, verliert er seinen Job und gerät daraufhin auch mit seinen neuen Freuden und Idealen auf Kriegsfuß.
No filme “A classe operária vai ao paraíso”, de Elio Petri (Itália, 1971), Lulu Massa é um operário consumido pelo capital e cujo trabalho estranhado consome sua vida. A fábrica adota sistema de quotas (metas) que intensifica a produção. Lulu é o operário-padrão da fábrica, sendo hostilizado pelos outros companheiros de chão de fábrica. Após perder um dedo na máquina, Lulu adota uma atitude critica ao modelo de exploração, confrontando a gerencia. Os operários (situação e oposição sindical) contestam as cotas. Após uma greve, Lulu é demitido. Depois de negociações, ele consegue ser readmitido na fábrica, voltando à linha de produção e reintegrando-se ao coletivo de trabalho. Por conta da mobilização operária, o sistema de cotas é revisto pela direção da fábrica. Deste modo, podemos caracterizar a estrutura lógico-explicativa da analise critica do filme de Elio Petri a partir de dois importantes eixos: primeiro, produção de mais-valia relativa (inovação técnico-organizacional do capital), desvalorização da força de trabalho como mercadoria, degradação do trabalho vivo (saúde do trabalhador) e resistência contingente e necessária do proletariado. Segundo, capital consome trabalho vivo e trabalho estranhado consome vida. Os dois eixos explicativos da estrutura narrativa do filme constituem os traços essenciais do que seria a precarização (e precariedade) do trabalho no capitalismo global.

Макс Отто фон Штирлиц нем. Max Otto von Stierlitz по аналогии с реально существующей немецкой фамилией Stiegliz возможно также написание Stiglitz, соответственно Stirlitz собственно фамилия Штирлиц в немецкоязычных странах не встречается он же Максим Максимович Исаев, настоящее имя Всеволод Владимирович Владимиров литературный персонаж, герой многих произведений советского писателя Юлиана Семёнова, штандартенфюрер СС, советский разведчик-нелегал, работавший в интересах СССР в нацистской Германии и некоторых других странах. Персонаж придуман автором в 1965 году. Всесоюзную славу образу Штирлица принёс многосерийный телефильм Татьяны Лиозновой Семнадцать мгновений весны по одноимённому роману, где его роль сыграл Вячеслав Тихонов. Этот персонаж стал самым знаменитым образом разведчика в советской и постсоветской культуре.
в 2011 году скульптор Александр объявил о начале сбора средств на установку памятника Штирлицу во Владивостоке возле гостиницы Версаль в которой жил и возможно придумал образ разведчика Юлиан Семёнов 12 января 2018 года памятник был установлен

Писатель Дмитрий Быков полагает, что Штирлиц главный герой советского эпоса например: Штирлиц выпал с третьего этажа и чудом зацепился за второй. Чудо распухло и мешало ходить, или: „Трогай!“ сказал Штирлиц шоферу. Шофер потрогал и обалдел, или: В углу двора двое эсэсовцев ставили машину на попа. „Бедняга пастор!“ подумал Штирлиц.
