Video filmed Wednesday 6th May 2015 while visiting Moneygall, County Offaly, Ireland the ancestral hometown of US President Barack Obama. Also featured is the ancestral homestead of President Obama on the Main Street of this beautifully manicured town.
At one end of the town a new large motoring services area has been constructed. It is called Barack Obama Plaza. It's impressive and teaming with activity.
The town and its landmark sites is featured on the Waze app for the convenience of US visitors.
Moneygall (Gaelic: Muine Gall, meaning foreigners' thicket) is a small town on the border of counties Offaly and Tipperary, in Ireland. It is situated on the regional road R445 between Dublin and Limerick. The 2011 Census counted 310 people in the village (153 males and 157 females). This was an increase of 12 people (4%) since the previous census in 2006
