A Holiday Tale From Barcelona Improv Group
We play a game called Pearls on a String where we make up a story, one line at a time, out of order, then string it all together. Here's one we made just in time for Christmas - The Reindeer Who Couldn't Get Credit.

Barcelona Improv Group (B.I.G.) performs the game Film Dub to a live audience in November. There was no time to prepare a script or plan - the actors (and voice actors) were given the audience suggestion Zombies in Amsterdam as a title, and they instantly created this scene.

Where is home?
Three men are sharing one experience.
They meet and change each other.
Different storylines will interweave to create a kaleidoscope of different cultures with similar needs at different times.
We will create our own every day life characters with clothes and movements. This also allows performances on very different kinds of stages, e.g.outdoor.
The characters will have some personal belongings to create their little home everywhere within a few minutes.
A part of the language will be based on Contact Improvisation, and the vulnerability of the performers in the field of improvisation will be a vital part of the performance.
On the other hand choreographical and narrative elements will create a supportive structure.
Projections mixed from pre-filmed and live material will be used to support or counterbalance the images of Home and „on the road.

Sri Chinmoy performing in Barcelona
Spiritual master Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) who spread his light and peace in over 700 peace concerts, also visited Southern Europe in November of 1991 and gave a beautiful concert in Barcelona, where he played on many instruments such as various flutes, the cello, the sythesizer, the piano, gongs a.o. The concert concluded with a long meditation. Then the master invited the seekers to pass by him in front of the stage while he continued meditating. This was a unique experience for both the new seekers and the disciples who traveled from all over Europe to attend the event in the Spanish capital. Length: 1:11 h. Camera and Edit: Kedar Misani
