New Microbrewery In Quesnel Opens Its Doors
India Pale ales, Brown ales and stouts. A new microbrewery in Quesnel will be making them all. Barkerville Brewery opened its doors two weeks ago and they're already getting lots of local love - selling out their first batch of 1,500 litres in just three days.
Mark Matthews conquering Rockasaurus on Dragon Mountain
Mark Matthews travelled the Northern BC Ale Trail, riding northern trails and sipping on northern craft beer from Terrace to Quesnel. Mark's last stop was Rockasaurus on Dragon Mountain in Quesnel and then onward to Barkerville Brewing Co.

Road Trip to Barkerville BC Ghost Town
Day 1 of heading to Baskerville BC to visit the historical Ghost town, but the first stop of the journey is Jasper Alberta. we stayed over night at whistlers campground which is only a few kms from the Jasper sky tram which you can take to the top of the mountain and see everything around you. after taking the trip down from the mountain we headed into the town of jasper and ate at the jasper brewing company and kicked back and relaxed.

SUMMARY
=======
The Colony of British Columbia was a crown colony in British North America from 1858 until 1866. It was founded by Richard Clement Moody, who became the first Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia from 1858 to 1863. At its creation, it physically constituted approximately half the present day Canadian province of British Columbia, since it did not include the Colony of Vancouver Island, the vast and still largely uninhabited regions north of the Nass and Finlay Rivers, the regions east of the Rocky Mountains, or any of the coastal islands. The Colony of the Queen Charlotte Islands and the Stikine Territory were merged with it in 1863, and it was amalgamated in 1866 with the Colony of Vancouver Island to form a new Colony of British Columbia.
