A Wedding at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm in New Hope — Amber and Stephen
This day was incredibly fun despite the rain, which literally only occurred during the ceremony and then immediately cleared up. Murphy's Law in action on that! Amber and Steve were so fantastic and funny to be around that we basically felt like guests at the wedding and that easiness really enables us to get some of the amazing shots you see here. Many thanks to the couple and their friends and family for being so very inviting into their inner circle to help us capture this wonderful day up in New Hope at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm.

Constant Billy.
Constant Billy, played on Anglo Concertina. This is apparently late C17th tune. It is popular with Morris sides in England.
I heard it being played on Cornish bagpipes and loved it from then. I don't know if my version is suitable for dancers but i enjoy playing it. Hope you enjoy listening to it!

Darkie Day in Padstow, Cornwall, New Years Day 2011. Music, Parade, Folk songs
Footage from Padstow, Cornwall, as the traditional Darkie Day parade progresses past where we were stood. This tradition is often surrounded by controversy due to people blacking themselves up, and people mistaking this for some kind of anti-negro / black / slavery statement. However, it is a tradition to do with disguise and historically masks were also used. There is no racism/slavery connotations with Padstow at any point in history. The day is all about folk music, song, and of course, alcohol LOL. Enjoy!
