Barnards Miniature Railway Steam Gala

Barnards Miniature Railway is a 7.25 inch gauge line running 1.2km around the grounds and gardens of a house in the Essex countryside. Held its steam gala over the 20th and 21st August 2016, with a mix of resident locos and visiting locos hauling passenger and demonstration freight trains.

I would recommend a visit to this line if you are a fan of miniature steam, this railway plans to open its second extension in the coming months making this line one of if not the longest end to end 7.25 inch line in the UK

As I walked onto the platform at Ely station to meet my wife, the platform announcer said over the speakers that 'Britannia' was pulling into platform 3. Completely unprepared, I had only my phone with me, so apologies for the quality.
