using the DJI Mavic Mini I fly around Barnet Cycle Park. Although closed it had a few people in it. This incredible bike skills park, located in the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, is the world’s largest and only outdoor wood pump track that is free to the public. It is a place where mountain bike enthusiasts — young and old — beginner to advanced — can challenge themselves and develop their riding skills in a safe, controlled area. A place where the integrity and conservation of the mountain environment is respected and enjoyed by everyone. The park's season is weather dependent, and is generally open from April until end of October.

Crabbing Fun at Barnet Beach Marine Park - Last Day in Canada
Family fun at Barnet Marine Park with friends. Captain Rob brought out the jet boat and good times were had. Shane brought the beers while Ed brouht his trap. Overall we only got 1 keeper, ouch eh? But still it was good times with everyone. Until next time....
The Tall Videographer - Barnet Marine Park, Burnaby, BC
Barnet Marine Park opened in 1973. Prior to this it was used in the early 20th Century as a logging camp. There are remnants of concrete towers and a scrap burner still on site as well as bricks and pilings left over from past construction. Now it is a marine park with a sandy beach, seasonal swimming enclosure, seasonal canoe and boat rental, picnic areas and seaside trails. A pier gets much use by crabbers and fishermen and watercraft of all sizes pass through this narrow section of Burrard Inlet.
Recorded using a Pole-Cam - a fifteen foot telescoping pole with a camera mount on top, the base of which is resting on my chest. Sometimes it is hard to keep level with the horizon when I am squinting at the open camcorder screen against a bright sky and trying to see what I am recording and maintain my own balance as well.

冬天的海邊，少了烤肉戲水的人群，顯得格外寧靜冷清。卻也因為這樣，海邊的飛鳥可以不受打擾，安心的休憩覓食。這裏是Burnaby唯一的海邊公園：Barnet Marine Park。沿著海邊步道散步，常可以看的到加拿大雁，大藍鷺和鸕鶿，今天驚喜的竟然看到一對白頭鷹夫妻就停在不遠的廢碼頭木樁上，兩隻輪流進食，互相守衛。牠們對我的駐足觀察似乎一點都不再意，吃完整條魚才拍翅飛走。大自然的生態多麼的美妙！
