Originally built in 1618 for the Bulkeley family, Baron Hill was remodelled into the Neo-Palladian style in 1776 by the architect Samuel Wyatt.
It remained the Bulkeley family home until sometime in the 1920s, when they moved to more modest accomodation and the mansion was then used for storage.
When World War II broke out, the Government requisitioned it and it was used as a billet for Polish soldiers. The Polish soldiers were unhappy with the large, cold rooms and decided to start a small fire, so that they would be rehoused in more comfortable accommodation. The resulting blaze destroyed a large part of the main building's interior. The soldiers were rehoused - but into portable huts in the mansion's grounds.
The mansion has been abandoned ever since the war ended and has gradually decayed further.

Baron Hill Mansion The Lost Mansion On Anglesey (2017)
Baron Hill is situated around half a mile west of Beaumaris, Anglesey, Wales. Baron Hill House and the associated Baron Hill Park were established in 1618 by Sir Richard Bulkeley as the family seat of the influential Bulkeley family. Originally built in 1618 the once grand Beaumaris home now stands derelict tucked away in overgrown woodland.
In the eighteenth century the house was the seat of Richard Bulkeley, 4th Viscount Bulkeley who maintained Jacobite sympathies.
In 1776 The house went under construction to adopt a Neo- Palladian Style as you can see from the curved facade of the building to the terraces, follies and balconies.
During World War I, death duties soaked up the family fortune and made it impossible for the family to continue to maintain the house. During the war, Royal Engineers were stationed at the house. It was later damaged by fire, but the shell of the house survives.

A quick note...
I am not a camra expert, i do not own any expensive recording equipment or have any editing software, it is what it is, no stupid music or sound effects.
I have been exploring abandoned properties in the south-east of England since around 1993 i know the risks and dangers probably more than most, it is only the last few years i have stated documenting my adventures and have built up quite a collection of video footage and thousands of pictures. Some of which may be very interesting.
If you don't like what you see then thats fine, i do not care, if you do then thanks
