Palm Beach + Barrenjoey Lighthouse Day Trip | Australia
Here's another video from my Australia trip in August 2018. It was winter in Australia but this day was a bit warmer. Water was still too cold at the Palm Beach though.
We took an hour bus from Manly to Palm Beach and hiked our way up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse for some spectacular views. This was on a Sunday and the Opal card is capped at AUD 2.70. Best day of the week to travel.

The national Park runs tours of the Barrenjoey light house every Sunday, I was lucky enough to go to the top of the light house on a gorgeous evening with an epic lookout. Ending the video with an epic sunset over the beach.

It will be about 18 mins walking up towards the Lighthouse from the ground. Though walking up the high hills will be hard, the rewards will be unmatched. You will be able to enjoy the spectacular natural views+ whole palm beach area+ whale watching in Winter and early Spring ???????? !
L90 Bus will be the easiest and quickest means of travel to the Palm beach, NSW, Australia and it will take more than 30 mins to reach all the way the Light house from where the L90 bus terminates !

The Barrenjoey Head lighthouse was the third light constructed on the Barrenjoey, New South Wales headland, and was completed in 1881. Designed by NSW colonial architect James Barnet, its construction cost £13,695, plus £2,210 for the lamp. At an elevation of 113 m, it is visible to a distance of 19 nautical miles (35 km; 22 mi) out to sea. (Source: Wikipedia)

Barrenjoey is a locality in the suburb of Palm Beach, at the most northern tip of Pittwater. The headland is mostly made up of Hawkesbury sandstone which overlays Narrabeen shale. Around 10,000 years ago the headland was cut off from the mainland due to the rising sea level; subsequent buildup of a sand spit or tombolo reconnected the island to the mainland (a 'tied island'). It is the location of the Barrenjoey Head Lighthouse, a lighthouse that was first lit in 1881.

Hi! my name is Hai (pronounced as Hi). Whenever I travel or meet someone for the first time people always greet me and say ‘Hi Hai!’ So I thought I would call my channel the same name.
I’m a passionate creator, with a love of adventure. I have a Master’s Degree of Design, and I started off as an illustrator, evolving into a graphic designer, digital designer, motion graphic animator, video editor, travel & lifestyle photographer and videographer.
I’ve had over 15 years experience in the Advertising and Marketing industry which has really built my skills and experience. I have experience in managing a team of designers & developers to design and build ideas, marketing collaterals, websites and creating motion videos, branding and advertisements for small to large companies.
My main love is travelling. I often capture videos and photos of landscapes & lifestyle moments during any free time I get, which is my creative escape from the daily grind.
My specialism is in telling outdoor, travel and adventure stories through photography, video and 360-degree imagery. I’ve been fortunate to travel around the world capturing scenic beautiful landscapes and horizons with my Nikon D810 and my Phantom 4 Drone equipment. I love the outdoors and always have done, so to spend time in nature is absolutely thrilling for me.

If you enjoy surfing or coastal walks, head to Palm Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches for great surf and easy walks along the beach to Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Palm Beach wharf makes the perfect fishing spot for the kids and you can all unwind at a waterside cafe.
Found just over an hour’s drive from the centre of Sydney, Palm Beach is home to the city’s most northerly stretch of sand. Sweeping south from Barrenjoey Head, the beach’s golden sands and sparkling blue waters are ideal for relaxing, strolling, swimming and surfing.
