Keys to the City of Barrie: Barrie's Best Beaches
The summer is coming to a close, but we suggest you keep this countdown of Barrie’s Best Beaches for next summer! The Keys to the Ciy of Barrie is brought to you by Pratt Homes.
Here’s what we found after spending the summer experiencing the area’s waterfront this summer:
Centennial Beach: This beach has so much to offer and is the beach most people think of for Barrie. With kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and the water park, the possibilities are endless.
Johnson’s Beach: If you’re looking for a no frills beach in Barrie, this is the one for you. Lots of sand and great views of the City of Barrie’s downtown, it’s our second choice.
Minet’s Point Beach: If you have small children, we suggest this beach for you! The swim area is shallow and the park is so great! Plus, they are very close to each other. Another plus, the sunsets are spectacular!
Tyndale Beach: This is the beach for everyone! With sandy beach area, playground, beach volleyball area and a pavillion, you can enjoy this area at any age.
Dock Road: Not technically a beach, but it’s a favourite with our kids. Nothing beats dock jumping!

Travel Barrie: Centennial Beach
Hey Guys, Here I am at Centennial Beach, Barrie, Ontario. This was my first time to this beach, and I was delightfully surprised in how much I loved it! Lake Simcoe is so much warmer than a lot of lakes because it is a smaller to warm up. I think it's my favourite Ontario beach! I would love to go back, or perhaps even move to Barrie! It's so nice! It is a great weekend getaway from Toronto!

Experience Barrie in the winter
This Barrie News Today video is for our friends who are thinking about moving to Barrie, here are some tips before you make the move. This has to do with winter living and how we in Barrie deal with winter. Barrie is located in a Snowbelt and experiences high volumes of snowfall. Unlike the City Of Vaughan, Barrie doesn't have an extra snow blade following our snowplows clearing your driveway entrances. Here in Barrie our plows bury you in, so get ready for this by watching this video and be prepared for your move to Barrie Ontario Canada.

Typical Winter Day In Barrie Ontario Canada
So you're a city slicker and your tempted to sell your million dollar home in Toronto so you can buy a bigger and less expensive home in Barrie, well think again. This is a typical day in Barrie during the winter and yes the people in Barrie have adapted and yes we are damn good at surviving winter but you my friend should think twice for you are a city dweller and you will not survive up here.
This video was shot in July so imagine how January will be.
Truth is I'm practicing using my Power Editor and this is my homework assignment from my last lesson. Hope you enjoy watching me freeze and risk my life for making your bread and pizza's.
