Join us for the last day of our May bank holiday Welsh weekender finishing off at Barry Island on our way home back to England
Barry Island was busy, really busy in fact it took us hours to get there and park up, leaving only after a few hours later but was great to experience such a small park with high crowds getting on the giant Ferris Wheel, Dragon Challenge (old Beastie from Alton Towers) and log flume
Barry Island Pleasure Park originally opened way back in 1897 and was home to numerous classic rides including 3 wooden coasters, themed log flume and ghost train designed by John Wardley, the park is now owned by traveling showman Henry Danter
Vlog and on ride povs are all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 with official accessories

Join me as I take a visit back to Barry Island Pleasure Park in South Wales to see what’s new for the 2019 season
This park originally opened up in 1929 but rides had been here on the site before that time including several classic wooden coasters, the small park then went through numerous changes throughout its lifetime and was also left derelict for many years before Henry Danter started adding rides bringing it back to life once again
The park is home to 3 coasters, Ferris Wheel, log flume, classic Ghost Train plus many flat rides and children’s rides for the whole family
Vlog and on ride povs are all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 Black with official accessories

A compilation of clips from 1986's Bloody New Year, aka Time Warp Terror by British Schlock-Master Norman J. Warren. Notable for clips of the old Barry Butlins and the various rides that have long since gone from Barry Island's fun fair, which is now a pale shadow of its former self.

Barry Island Pleasure Park 2014 - No longer occurring
Aerial tour of Barry Island Fairground, with just the long-featured Log Flume and Haunted Mine (formerly Wacky Gold Mine) the only rides left standing at the time. Look closely for the Frankenstein and the animals left standing in what remains of the Jungle Boat Ride.
