History Comes Alive BARWON PARK Winchelsea. April 2011.
This montage has been put together using all the photos I could grab from everyone at the event: History Comes Alive! @ Barwon Park Mansion, Winchelsea, Victoria.
Hosted by the Geelong Military Reenactment Group and the Victorian National Trust this event brought up to 80 reenactors, collectors, living historians, vehicle historians from all over Australia for this public event held every two years. All of the photos used in this montage are from that weekend in April, none are from WW1 or WW2.
A memorable moment by far for all involved.
I wish to thank those who unknowingly donated their photos for this montage, please be assured it was to just share with the rest of the community.
I thank you in advance.

Breakwater Aqueduct | Geelong Australia
Checking out the Breakwater Aqueduct in Geelong Australia.
The Barwon Sewer Aqueduct is a heritage-listed aqueduct across the Barwon River at Goat Island, Breakwater, Victoria, Australia. It was designed by engineer E. G. Stone and erected from 1913-1915. It would appear to be the only one of its kind in Australia in terms of its length and the use of the Considere construction technique. The aqueduct appears to be the last example in Australia of Armand Considere's system of reinforcing for concrete structures. It was added to the Victorian Heritage Register on 23 October 1991.
