Basel SBB railway station (German: Bahnhof Basel SBB, sometimes Centralbahnhof or Schweizer Bahnhof), is the central railway station in the city of Basel, Switzerland. Opened in 1854, and completely rebuilt in 1900–1907, it is Europe's busiest international border station. As its name suggests, Basel SBB is owned by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-CFF-FFS). Trains operated by SBB-CFF-FFS use Basel SBB to link Basel with destinations within Switzerland and Italy, as do Deutsche Bahn Intercity-Express (ICE) trains to and from Germany, Zürich and Interlaken, most SNCF TGV trains to and from Paris, and some regional trains to and from Alsace. Additionally, the station is served by three lines of the Basel S-Bahn.

22.12.2018 - Eine Gruppe johlender Männer fragte mich ob ich Fotos fürs Tilllate mache... Ich erklärte ihnen, das ich nur Interesse an den Trams und Zügen hätte. Verdutzt gingen sie von dannen... ha ha ha... Mir wurde bewusst, das es erst 05:00 am morgen ist. Die wenigen Trams und Züge die an diesem Samstag morgen in den Bahnhof Basel SBB fuhren waren so ziemlich leer... Ich beschloss zuerst einmal einen Kaffee zu trinken und das windige, aber doch sehr milde Basler Klima zu geniessen... Filmaufnahmen entstanden zwischen 05:30 und 07:00 Uhr...

24.04.2018 - Ein Deutscher Bahnhof der in Basel liegt. Ein kleiner Rundgang durchs Bahnhofsgebäude und dann aufs Perron. Ich glaube, hier rauschen mehr Güterzüge als Personenzüge vorbei. Viel war an diesem Nachmittag leider nicht los am Basel Bad Bf.

18.05.2019 - Ich war in Basel unterwegs und besuchte den kleinen Bahnhof Basel St. Johann. (leider habe ich die falsche Zeit gewählt, es war wirklich nichts los). Ein toller Ort. Zwischen Modernen Betonbauten, Familien Reihenhäuser, Gärten und Fabriken liegt dieser kleine nette Bahnhof. Wer Urban Gardening mag, ist hier genau richtig. Ich sage nur: Natur pur. Ich bekam schlussendlich doch noch einige Züge vor die Kamera. Ich weiss jetzt aber, warum er auch Geisterbahnhof (Wikipedia) genannt wird.
