This is one of the most amazing Mass I have ever seen complete with dancing and fireworks which you can see at the end of the video. I filmed this on the Saturday, the day before the Sinulog Parade. Philippines: Basilica del Santo Nino and Magellans Cross
Moving on to the Cebu City to visit Magellan's Cross and the Basilica Del Santo Nino. The cross is located directly in the city on the bustling Magellan Street, not far from other landmarks like Fort San Pedro and the Basilica del Santo Nino. The cross is one of the most famous landmarks in Cebu and is named after the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Near Magellan’s Cross is the Basilica del Santo Nino. The church was built in 1565 at the same place where the wooden statue of Santo Nino was found. Everywhere in the Philippines you can find churches in this for the time typical Spanish style. The Basilica is always crowded and you meet a lot of people, whether in the sanctuary or in the courtyard which is decorated with plants and a small fountain.
