EDC 2018| I Vend at EDC in Las Vegas ???? ???? ???? (Day 1)
Electric Daisy Carnival, commonly known as EDC, is an annual electronic dance music festival, with its flagship event held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event features electronic dance producers and DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Yellow Claw, and Tiësto. The festival incorporates all kinds of electronic music.[
Since its inception, other EDC events have been held at venues in the United States and abroad, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, the UK, Brazil, Japan and India.
In 2009, EDC became a two-day event, and in 2011 a three-day event in Las Vegas that drew 230,000 people. In 2015 it drew more than 400,000 over three days (134,000 per day)
The first Electric Daisy Carnival rave was held in the early 1990s at an open field in Pacoima, in Los Angeles, California, by Gary Richards and DJ Steve Kool-Aid (real name: Stephen Enos).[ In the early years, several southern California venues played host to the annual electronic music festival: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park in Los Angeles, National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino, Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach, Lake Dolores Waterpark in Barstow, Hansen Dam in Lake View Terrace, and the International Agri-Center in Tulare.
97/98
Its next incarnation was held at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Electric Daisy Carnival was selected by Insomniac's partner Philip Blaine. The name usage was approved by Steve Kool-Aid via Gary Richards as a homage to the original creation from several years prior
99
Electric Daisy Carnival took place at Lake Dolores Waterpark in Newberry Springs, California. The festival first took place in a small venue at Lake Dolores Waterpark, called Insomniac.
2000
The Electric Daisy Carnival moves to Tulare, California, at the World Ag Expo.
2001
Electric Daisy Carnival was held at Hansen Dam in Southern California, expanding for the first time to multiple stages: the Merry Go Round, the Fun House, Clown Alley, the Confusin’ & Amuzin’ Mirror Maze, Bassrush Arena and Cosmic Healing Temple.
In the same year, another EDC was held in Austin, Texas.
02-06
EDC 2002 was held at Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach, California. A second edition was held at the Travis County Exposition Center in Austin, Texas.[
From 2003 to 2006, Electric Daisy Carnival was held at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.
2007
Electric Daisy Carnival was held at the L.A. Coliseum in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park
2008
The California event was held June 28 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park. The EDC Colorado event took place on June 14 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora.
2009
Announced at Nocturnal Festival 2008 to be a two-day festival, the California event was held on June 26–27. On Friday, approximately 55,000 attendees were present and Saturday saw a crowd of approximately 99,000.[] EDC 2009 was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and used the entire southern half of Exposition Park.[
The Colorado event was held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora on June 13. It was headlined by Infected Mushroom, Paul Van Dyk, and several others.[]
EDC Puerto Rico was held on August 14. The venue was The Arena Fairgrounds in San Juan
2010
EDC Los Angeles had an attendance of about 185,000 people. Though tickets were starting at $60, some attendees paid over $100 per ticket.[
It drew criticism from both local authorities and promoters after minors under the required age of 16 gained entrance, and over 100 people were hospitalized after a crowd stampede. A 15-year-old female attendee, Sasha Rodriguez, died after taking MDMA.[] The city of Los Angeles placed a moratorium on all remaining events scheduled for 2010 and a moratorium on future events, pending the outcome of the new security and safety provisions. The new provisions included the hiring of on-site doctors, and stated attendees must be over 18 years of age.[
An EDC Colorado event was held on June 12 at the Arapahoe County Fairground in Aurora.[
EDC Dallas was held on June 19 at Fair Park in Dallas. 11,000 people were in attendance.
EDC Puerto Rico was held on August 28, 2010, at the Estadio Sixto Escobar at Puerta de Tierra, San Juan
2011
Due to previous controversy of EDC's former residence in Los Angeles, EDC moved its flagship festival to Las Vegas, Nevada.[The event was held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from June 24–26. Reportedly 230,000 people had attended the 3 day festival.[according to whom?]
EDC Orlando 2011 was held on May 27–28 at Tinker Field, and the grounds adjacent to the Florida Citrus Bowl.] EDC Orlando 2011 had approximately 12,000 on Friday and 20,000 on Saturday.
Electric Daisy Carnival Dallas was held June 18 at Fair Park with an estimated 25,000 attendees. Temperatures above 110 degrees led to dozens of hospitalizations and at least one death

DJ Producers Candyland and Kill Paris, will co-headline Winter Whiteout EDM event at Reno's Grand Theatre, at the Grand Sierra Resort, Thursday, February 20, 2014, along with special guests, Pegboard Nerds from Europe, and local support from DJ Duo, Stensen, and Aviator. Tickets are on-sale now for $20 in advance, $25 day of and available online at TicketFly.com, by visiting the Grand Sierra Box Office, or grandsierraresort.com. It's a White Party; wear white.
Kill Paris began his journey into music composition at age 16 learning how to play the guitar, which soulfully reflects in his Future Funk style and bass guitar riffs in his music today. After receiving his recording arts degree in Florida, he moved to Nashville, TN, the heart of Rock/Country in the U.S. and produced for and performed with several Country music bands/singers. But it was his attraction to electronic music composition that led him into the heart of Los Angeles, California where he currently resides today. In the summer of 2012 he began to receive attention from some well-known EDM blog sites, testifying his undying love to Lana Del Ray, and earning some highly sot after Features from Dubstep.net, and ThisSongIsSick.com, which helped propel his music into the ears of larger masses. His success in the EDM blog-sphere online helped launch his touring carrier in late 2012 and early 2013, where he's spent the majority of his time traveling and performing for venues and festivals in cities all across the country, including Ultra Music Festival Miami. While juggling his touring career, Kill Paris has managed to release a 9 track EP on Skrillex's record label, Owsla, and individually release several other official remixes for artists such as Nelly Furtado, and No Doubt. His most recent release, a remix of Rudimental's Feel the Love, charted #1 on Beatport's Top100 GlitchHop tracks, and also charted on the overall Top100 tracks for all genres.
Candyland is a DJ and producer duo that was born and raised right here in the United States. Their main weapons of assault are dubstep and electro house, and their tracks, Piano Sure Is Neat and Hate On This, popped on to the Beatport top 100 chart in a matter of days after being released. To see Candyland live is a truly incredible experience. Above their amazing bass lines and catchy back beats, their energy together on stage itself is so addicting and inebriating that to watch them is a show in itself. After becoming the first act to win back-to-back Beatport remix contests (Skrillex Make it Bun Dem & Bingo Players Rattle) and racking up over 5 MILLION Soundcloud plays, they released their debut album Bring the Rain on SPINNIN RECORDS (Jan 21st 2013) which charted: #3 on the Beatport Overall Releases Top 100, #1 on Dubstep Top 100, #1 on Electro House Top 100, #1 Drum N Bass Top 100, and #1 Glitch Hop Top 100. Candyland continues to pave their own lane bridging the gap between Trap, Dubstep, and House music with every original and remix they release.
On trajectory from Denmark and Norway, the Pegboard Nerds have crash landed on the global electronic music landscape with meteoric force. The impact of their genre-bending music has been felt by peers and industry mainstays alike. With a string of hit singles on independent Canadian label Monstercat gaining millions of plays and the attention of fans over the world, it's no coincidence that the hottest names in the game have begun to pay attention. From collaborating and remixing the likes of Krewella to Infected Mushroom, to being hand selected by Knife Party as show support, Pegboard Nerds' ticket to international acclaim has been stamped.
Doors open/First DJ at 9p. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of, and available at TicketFly.com, the Grand Sierra Box Office, or call TicketFly direct, 877.987.6487. This is a 18+ event.

Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox 2016 Tour
Genre-busting Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox announced a run of North American tour dates. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 22 at 10am local. Visit for more info.
Postmodern Jukebox, an ongoing musical project spearheaded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, takes contemporary pop and rock tunes and fashions new arrangements for them that cast them in an unpredictable variety of musical styles from the past.
The tour follows PMJ’s current 75-date almost completely sold-out international run, which wraps this June. In 2015, the group's sold-out tours of Australia and the United States prompted the Buffalo News to proclaim, “Postmodern Jukebox is literally a postmodern success, extending its reach from the virtual to the real world, touring and performing around the globe for an ever-growing fan base.”
Created by Bradlee, the rotating collective of Postmodern Jukebox has spent the past few years amassing more than 450 million YouTube views and 1.9 million subscribers, performed on “Good Morning America,” topped iTunes and Billboard charts and played hundreds of shows to packed-house crowds around the world. As NPR put it, they’ve done this by “taking current Top 40 hits and re-imagining them as coming from older eras of popular music.” In one such remake, Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox turned Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” into a doo-wop ditty that’s garnered over 15.4 million views. Last year, they envisioned Radiohead’s alt-rock hit “Creep” as a torch-like ballad that’s racked up over 16.9 million views and was named one of the “9 Best Viral Cover Videos of 2015” by People magazine. Multi-Grammy winning artist Lorde praised Postmodern Jukebox’s vintage take on her hit single, “Royals,” which has been viewed over 15.3 million times, as her “favorite.” They recently performed a ‘30s jazz remake of Elle King’s “Ex’s & Oh’s” for MTV UK.
Bradlee, the mastermind behind the group, has turned Postmodern Jukebox into a juggernaut by building an incredible grassroots movement around the act. He continues to pick the songs, create the arrangements and shows, and puts together the performers - which includes some notable names alongside phenomenal undiscovered talent. The group releases a new video every week, each one shot in the casual environment of Bradlee’s living room where he can often be seen playing piano in the background.
Don’t miss your chance to catch Postmodern Jukebox live in 2016. Dates are as follows:

Lyrics:
You wet my eyes
But I don't mind it
I tell you lies
But it's only sometimes
You pick a fight
And I'll define it
I swear that I (Swear that I)
I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don't think it was three times
It can't be more than four times
I think we need to rewind
You text that boy sometimes
Must be more than three times
I didn't mean to two-time you
She said that I should have liked it
I told her I only use it sometimes
Except when I need reminding
I'm petrified
But I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don't think it was three times
I didn't mean to two-time, two-time you
You wet my eyes
But I don't mind it
I tell you lies
But it's only sometimes
You pick a fight
And I'll define it
I swear that
I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don't think it was three times
It can't be more than four times
I think we need to rewind
You text that boy sometimes
Must be more than three times
I didn't mean to two-time you, two-time you
To two-time, two-time you
I only called her one time
Maybe it was two times?
I don't think it was three times
It can't be more than four times
I think we need to rewind
You text that boy sometimes
Must be more than three times
I didn't mean to two-time, two-time you
(One time, oh, one time, three time, four time
Three time, four time, two time, three time)
Two-time, two-time you
(One time, oh, one time, three time, four time
Three time, four time, two time, three time)

It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) lyrics:
Danny ran into some complications
He falls asleep during conversations
He's gotta search the street when he's on vacation
The worst thing is that I'm in the same situation
And all I do is sit and think about you
If I knew what you'd do
Collapse my veins, wearing beautiful shoes
It's not living if it's not with you
And Danny says we're living in a simulation
But he works in a petrol station (selling petrol)
He says it all began with his operation
And I know you think you're sly but you need some imagination
And all I do is sit and think about you
If I knew what you'd do
Collapse my veins, wearing beautiful shoes
It's not living if it's not with you
All I do is sit and drink without you
If I choose then I lose
Distract my brain from the terrible news
It's not living if it's not with you
I can't stop sweating or control my feet
Got a 20-stone monkey that I just can't beat
I can stage a situation, but I just can't eat
And there's a feeling, you're replacing embrace
It's true that all I do is sit and think about you
If I knew what you'd do
Collapse my veins, wearing beautiful shoes
It's not living if it's not with you
All I do is sit and drink without you
If I choose then I lose
Distract my brain from the terrible news
It's not living if it's not with you
Oh, I'll try to get a job in a bank, I think
Danny spent the time trying to pack in the drinks for me
I feel sick and I know I that I'll lose but
It's not living if it's not with you
(It's not, it's not)
It's not living if it's not with you
(It's not, it's not)
(It's not, it's not)
It's not living if it's not with you
(It's not living if it's not with you)
(It's not, it's not)
(It's not, it's not)
(It's not, it's not)
(It's not living if it's not with you)
