A Day at Batsford Arboretum in Gloucestershire.
I just wanted to share with you some photos and video clips of a lovely day spent at Batsford Arboretum in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, UK. If you enjoy trees and plants, you will love this place. The arboretum is so well kept and every corner you turn offers another beautiful view. There's lots of statues and other things to see and although it's a long walk all the way round, there are plenty of benches to stop and take a break and enjoy the scenery! I hope you enjoy this video, if so, please give me a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe.
Batsford Arboretum & Cotswold Falconry
Batsford Arboretum is home to one of the largest private tree collections in the country. It offers visitors year round interest - from lush, spring colour provided by the beautiful Japanese flowering cherries to autumn’s spectacular natural fireworks display. This is a lovely find, just outside Moreton in the Marsh. There's a garden centre which leads into a pleasant arboretum.

????STOW-ON-THE-WOLD & MORETON-IN-MARSH | COTSWOLDS ENGLAND VANLIFE!!????
It's day 3 of our van trip to the Cotswolds in England and we are going to the famous Stow-on-the-Wold!
I think that similarly to Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold is a picturesque village/town in the heart of the Cotswolds and is one of the must see places.
To be honest we walked around in an hour and yes it is lovely and there were plenty of cafes and shops to look around if that's your thing, but at the end of the day it's just a small town, not much else to see lol. We decided to have lunch in the van and then go up the road to a place called Moreton-in-Marsh.
Again, not much going on there either but there is a place called Batsford Arboretum which we believe is a garden centre/garden display or something. It was nearly £20 for us to go in so we decided against going but there was a walk from Moreton-in-Marsh across the fields which was 1.5 miles so we thought that would be nice.
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did then don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe to our channel for more great videos every weekend and quite often during the week too, it's mostly the weekends though just the odd extra thrown in! :)

Moreton-in-Marsh is a town civil parish in northeastern Gloucestershire, England. The town of Moreton in Marsh is located at the crossroads of the Fosse Way Roman road and the A44 and served by Moreton-in-Marsh station on the Cotswold Line.
The parish and environs are relatively flat and low-lying compared with the surrounding Cotswold Hills. The River Evenlode rises near Batsford, runs around the edge of Moreton and meanders towards Oxford, where it flows into the Thames just east of Eynsham. Just over 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Moreton, the Four shire stone marked the boundary of the historic counties of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, until the re-organisation of the county boundaries in 1931. Since then it marks the meeting place of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.
Moreton-in-Marsh and Batsford War Memorial is in the High Street and commemorates the dead of the First and Second World Wars. Moreton was once the headquarters of the railway spot-hire company Cotswold Rail. Each September the town hosts the UK's largest one-day agricultural show. Held on part of the Batsford Estate, the show has been running since 1949.
The Redesdale Market Hall was designed by the architect Sir Ernest George and built in 1887. The town was known as Moreton-in-the-Marsh into the early 20th century. The name was changed to Moreton-in-Marsh before 1930. In 1940, a large area of level land east of the town was developed as RAF Moreton-in-Marsh and used by Wellington bombers.
The Stratford and Moreton Tramway was built between 1821 and 1826, linking Moreton with the Stratford-on-Avon Canal at Stratford.[6] It was horse-drawn until 1859, when the section between Moreton and Shipston-on-Stour was converted to a branch line railway operated with steam locomotives. The Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway, built between 1845 and 1851, passes through Moreton. The railway station was opened in 1853. The Great Western Railway (GWR) took over the OW&W Railway in 1862 and the Shipston-on-Stour branch in 1868.
