4K Great Ocean Road ➞ Apollo Bay AUSTRALIA Part 3 オーストラリア
The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243-kilometre (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial.
The road traverses rainforests, as well as beaches and cliffs composed of limestone and sandstone, which is susceptible to erosion.[4][5] The road travels via Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, and Port Campbell, the latter being notable for its natural limestone and sandstone rock formations including Loch Ard Gorge, The Grotto, London Arch (formerly London Bridge) and The Twelve Apostles.
The road is an important tourist attraction in the region.

Australia Trip Travel Vlog | Episode 5 | Great Ocean Road (Apollo Bay, 12 Apostles, Split Point)
Part 5 of 6 of our travel Vlog in Australia.
We went to Melbourne & Perth in October 2017, no plan ahead at all, just explore & experience.
This day, we drove a long way to the magnificent Great Ocean Road! Experienced the other part of Melbourne. Quiet and peaceful, it was the best time to clear our mind. It was also calm to gaze at the night sky full of stars. The next day, we drove our way to visit 12 apostles. We were so lucky that we met a koala bear strolling along the road outside our house. Before we left Great Ocean Road to Perth, we stopped by the Split Point Lighthouse too.

Seafarers Getaway Apollo Bay | Where to Stay on the Great Ocean Road
Seafarers Getaway is 4 star, 20 roomed hotel in Apollo Bay on the beautiful Great Ocean Road in Victoria. If you are looking for some good accommodation on the Great Ocean Road, Seafarers Getaway offers some upmarket stylish rooms with amazing view of the ocean. I stayed in one of their studio rooms which come complete with kitchen (mini bar, microwave, cooktop, cooking utensils, sink and coffee/tea making facilities), cable TV, free Wi-Fi and modern bathroom. There are huge glass sliding doors giving perfect views of the ocean.
The hotel is only a 5 minute or so drive away from Apollo Bay town, where you can find ATMs, shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes.
For best room rates at Seafarers Getaway Resort, take a look at sites such as Trivago, Hotelscombined, Tripadvisor or even Seafarers Getaway Website (shown in video). For the time I stayed I found the rates basically the same on most booking sites. I had points with Agoda, so I used them.
For me Seafarers is a great resort in Apollo Bay if you are looking for something upmarket. It would make for a great weekend getaway from Melbourne as well as romantic getaway. It was so relaxing to walk down to the beach and feel the ocean breezes. This is my review of the resort.
The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most spectacular drives. With fantastic ocean views, making it one of Australia’s top tourist attractions. One of the must things to do in Victoria. There are plenty of places to visit including the famous Twelve Apostles, Cape Otway Lighthouse (where I saw a wild koala by the side of the road), Loch Ard Gorge and just some beautiful look outs along the road. This is my mini guide to the Great Ocean Road, for more info please check the websites listed in the video.
