[4K] BRIGHTON ENGLAND WALKING TOUR - Pavilion & Lanes
How do we afford to travel so often? We're lucky enough to stay for almost free in every city, using
A 'slow tv' walk through Brighton's Lanes and around the Royal Pavilion. Starting just a short distance from Brighton Pier, our walk around this Sussex town in the south of England takes us through colourful alleyways with shopping, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.
We continue our walking tour around the famous Pavilion Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Brighton and started in 1787 by the Prince of Wales as a seaside retreat (London to Brighton taking just an hour by train.) It's domes and minarets were the work of architect John Nash.

A Weekend in Brighton | Everything to See & Do
We have arrived in one of our favourite spots in the UK - Brighton! and we have finally got some beautiful weather here in England - the sun is out yayyy
First up we give you a room tour of our very cool accommodation - the Artist Residence where every room has a unique look to it before heading off to first coffee spot - the Flour Pot (highly recommend for coffee addicts like ourselves)
Next we head to the Brighton Lanes trying to find our brunch spot Lost in the Lanes which was a fitting name because we literally got lost in the lanes trying to find it.
After an incredible breakfast we headed up the i360 tower to get insane views of Brighton from high above before doing some more thrift shop shopping as we made our way to the Komedia comedy lounge to watch a stand up show.
The next day we hand a bagel on the beach (Jess's dream) before going to Choccywoccydoodah to have a hot chocolate straight out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
We ended our time at the Brighton Pier to try and win Jess a pug...we failed.

24 Hours In Brighton, England
Explore colourful Brighton as I check out the buzzing food scene, shop on The Lanes, view the city from above on the i360, take a trip along Brighton Pier, track down the candy coloured beach huts and even stumble upon a beautiful vineyard!
With its fiercely independent spirit, top restaurants and cafes, and an old-time English seaside charm, it’s easy to see why Brighton is one of the most popular day trips from London.
I spent a busy 24 hours in Brighton exploring all it had to offer. I went on a Brighton Food Tour, which introduced me to some of Brighton’s hidden gems and the best independent eateries. I took to the skies in the city’s newest attraction - the British Airways i360, and enjoyed some awesome views of the city.
The Lanes is still as independent and unique as I remember it being. From a vegan perfume store and independent butcher with award-winning sausage rolls to vintage clothes shops to a tea mixologist, it’s a fun place to spend an afternoon. There’s also plenty of street art to check out in the area too.
One of the highlights was my trip out of Brighton to the Albourne Estate, a vineyard around 25 minutes from Brighton, with views of the beautiful South Downs. I took a tour of the winery and tasted some top English wines.
I also dined at Food For Friends, one of Brighton’s top vegetarian restaurants. It’s the kind of place where you’ll be wowed by the chef’s creativity… and fellow carnivores; I promise you won’t miss meat!
Enjoy my mini tour of Brighton and let me know if you have any tips for my next trip!

Travel United Kingdom - Visiting the Brighton Royal Pavilion
Take a tour of Brighton Royal Pavilion in Brighton, United Kingdom -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
A former residence for the royalty of the United Kingdom, construction of the immense Brighton Royal Pavilion began in 1787 and was finally completed in 1822.
The Pavilion was designed in exotic Indo-Saracenic architectural style popular in 19th century India.
The beautifully intricate colonnades coupled with the domed spires, and creamy pale color adds to the grandeur of this extravagant structure.
Geometric screen and glass patterns allow the natural light to dance and shimmer on the Pavilion's inner walls.
Adorning the interior are lavish furnishings of ancient Chinese and Indian origin, most likely acquired by the East India Trading Company.
Since its days as a hospital, housing injured Indian soldiers, during World War One the Pavilion has been open to visitors and is one of Brighton's primary attractions.

Quench your thirst at the 400 watering holes and nd take in some of the most eclectic street art you will ever see. The city inspires extragavence everywhere. Take the Royal Pavilion in all its eccentric glory. It was designed by the famed architect John Nash and completed in the early 1820's when the Prince Regent was crowned King George IV. No expense was spared in decorating it sumptuous interiors. One of the king's passions was food and the most elaborate banquets were held here in the banqueting room where the French chef Marie Antoine Karen created menus with as many as sixty dishes. Later in 1845 Queen Victoria was not so amused and she sold the Pavilion to the city for just £50 but its hard to imagine anywhere else where it would feel so at home. For many it sums up the city vibrant colourful and creative, this is Brighton.

Visit to Brighton & Brighton Beach
On a sunny, warm Saturday morning in July, we decided to set out on a trip from London to Brighton (South England / Southern UK) to see this pretty seaside town. This video is a small virtual walking tour of Brighton for you.
We only covered a fraction of the official things to do in Brighton because we were only there for a couple of hours for our day in Brighton, but we did get to fit a few sightseeing places including:
- a fair number of the city's pretty bunting-clad streets with flower window boxes and hanging baskets (the North Laines, the Lanes, Kemp Street, Kensington Gardens and East Street)
- Pavilion gardens with the Royal Pavilion's impressive building as well as the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery building
- Victoria gardens
- Brighton pier (from afar at least)
- Brighton Beach and the length of the promenade where there's volleyball, boules, basketball courts and lots of little shops, kiosks, restaurants, galleries and bars.
- the famous colourful Brighton Beach huts
Just walking around and soaking up the vibe of the place was great and filled our day to the brim so if you're looking for cheap Brighton ideas for things to do in Brighton on your Brighton holiday / break - I'd recommend just exploring the area by foot.
I hope you enjoy the video :)

This video is in partnership with Visit England who want to prove that you can have these wild adventures (like you would on a Gap Year) but just for the weekend - without having to leave home soil - they are calling this #MyMicrogap Where will yours take you?

Pusheen Cafe Brighton UK | Vegan Food Finds | KAWAII UK FUN!!!
Watch as we enter and eat at one of Brighton's quirkiest cafes. Pusheen Cafe is based around a cat that is also a Facebook sticker!? Strange right?
But Pusheen the cat is actually quite cool. If you like all the Kawaii type stuff from Japan then this is defintely one of the places to see in Brighton.
The plant-based food that we ate was pretty special too at this Artbox Cafe, with some amazing vegan food find.
