Ile de Re: Bike Tour from Ars to Les Portes and Phare des Baleines
This is a little bike tour on the Island Ile de Ré next to La Rochelle in France.
We start from Ars-en-Ré and gross the salt gardens (Marais Salain) to join Les Portes.
After crossing the center of the village, we move along the coast to the Beach La Conche. And than to the Lighthouse Phares des Baleines. From there we go back to Ars-en-Ré.
Shot with a go Pro mounted on the bike. And partially shot using a stabilizator.

Wheels to Huitres: Ile de Re 09
Four friends cycle from St Malo to Ile de Re. Once the ride is over there is time for a bit of r + r in the amazing Ile de Re where they are joined by an extra posse of debauchers. The priority then becomes to top up their wine + smelly cheese tally.

... Voici La plage qu'il vous faut !

Secret Spots of Île de Ré - Travel Guide NEAR & YONDER
This tiny Atlantic island off the coast of western France is known for its chic vibe and A-list visitors, but it still remains blissfully unspoilt.
It may be connected to the mainland city of La Rochelle by bridge, but Île de Ré feels a world away from the hustle and bustle. Spanning just 30 km and only 5 km wide at its broadest point, it is covered with salt marshes where herons can often be spotted soaring overhead and fringed by wave-washed beaches backed by sweeping dunes. Its string of small villages is linked by cycle paths and bikes are the preferred way to get around.
Each village has its own character – Saint Martin is the largest, with a boutique-lined port, while little Ars-en-Ré is the sleepiest – but all are scattered with quaint, whitewashed buildings sporting green shutters and terracotta roofs. The island’s beauty isn’t the only appeal, though, and food is another major draw: there are chi-chi restaurants and colourful markets aplenty, and the oysters here are said to be some of the best in world.

Island of Île de Ré, luxury architect villa for hire, splendid swimming pool, private cinema
Located on the French Atlantic coast, in one of the oldest villages of the little island of Île de Ré (Sainte-Marie-De-Ré), the Clos des Pertuis is a luxury architect villa of 350 m2, boasting exceptional volumes for unforgettable holidays with family or friends. The villa has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and sleeps 12 - 16.
Decorated in the typical style of the island and bathed in light, the villa offers large modular volumes away from prying eyes, with seamless transitions from indoors to outdoors through a multitude of French windows opening onto a patio at the front, a terrace at the back, a garden or a magnificent pool. The villa has the largest residential pool on the island (100 m2), which is heated from mid-May to September.
The house offers high-end equipment, including a soundproof private cinema, video games, wi-fi, large flat TVs, an elegant dressing room in the master bedroom, many en-suite bathrooms, a stone fireplace. Cleaning is included for impeccable cleanliness, and a concierge service offers additional services on request, such as linen rental, towels or bikes rental, or the beds made on arrival option for absolute tranquillity.
The nearest beach (Montamer Beach) is at the end of the street, 200m away, and the villa is 400m from away the village square (La Noue, Sainte-Marie-De-Ré), where a small daily market is held in season, as well as several shops, restaurants and services (bike rental). Thanks to its proximity to the bridge between the mainland and the island, the house is 20 mins from La Rochelle airport, and 30 mins from the train station.
Regularly ranked amongst the top holiday destinations in France, the little island of Île de Ré offers, with its pristine white beaches, unspoiled pastures and vineyards, an idyllic haven of peace on the Atlantic coast for gourmets, wave lovers and cyclists. “The True Heart of French Seaside Chic”, according to the New-York times!

Giant Huda started out as a spontaneous music project by singer-songwriter, composer, live musician and probably travel addict Josh Houseman (the guy in the video).
