In this video I visit Beamish Museum in County Durham, north east England. It's an open air musuem with a pit village, home farm, 1900s town, steam railway and so much more. It's an absolutely brilliant day out, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

The annual Beamish Run comes to Tan Hill again. Held around the middle Sunday in June, it is a reliability trial for classic motor vehicles and motorcycles over 50 years old. The 150 mile route starts and ends at the Beamish Open Air Museum in County Durham and there are several checkpoints along the way including the one at Tan Hill Inn, England's highest pub.
