Temple's Seal Trips & Blakeney Point - Morston, Norfolk ENGLAND
This weekend i visited Norfolk in England and took a boat trip to see the SEALS in their natural environment basking on BLAKENEY POINT.
We collected our pre-booked tickets from the Anchor Pub and went to Morston Quay to catch the boat to see both Common and Grey Seals.
They are very inquisitive animals, so swam near the boat. The views are stunning, and what better chance to breathe in the fresh air of the North Norfolk coast.
The trip is a unique experience for all ages – a rare opportunity to visit wildlife in its natural surroundings and i'd definitely recommend.
On the way home we stopped at Blakeney Point on a beautiful strip of beach and visited the old Lifeboat house which is now an information centre owned by the National Trust.
Currently priced at £12 adult and £6 child - great value family trip

Norfolk Uncovered: The Queen's Diamond Jubilee: Blakeney Harbour Boat Pageant
Norfolk Uncovered is a series of short documentaries about the less-known and less-obvious relics and ruins of the county of Norfolk, in the United Kingdom.
This episode captures the community spirit of Blakeney village, as more than 50 bunting-clad vessels arrived at Blakeney Quay to a waiting crowd as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in early June, 2012.
Music: God Save The Queen- Ambient by Chris Richmond
Norfolk Uncovered is filmed on a very small budget, and we make do with the equipment available, so please enjoy and make the most of what you see...

Morston and Walsingham (Blakeney Holiday)
My photo's from the two seperate days out while we were on holiday in Blakeney.
The first part is Morston. About a mile away from Blakeney, this is where you pick up the boats to go out and see the seals. I was looking forward to this part of the holiday for months, but on the day of the seal trip, I had injected my arthritis medicine and felt completely sick, and didn't dare risk the boat! So my Mum and Finley went, and I had to stay on the shore and watch them leave :( It was sunny but absolutely bitterly cold winds. I am gutted I didnt get to go.
It was an amazing place though. When we arrived for the boat there was no water in the channel and everyone was saying how are they going to get the boat out!, then suddenly the tide just rushed in within minutes and the boat left on time. My Mum and Finley saw some seals, unfortunately no photo's though.
The second part of the video is our trip to Walsingham, just a few pics as I already have a Walsingham video on this account. We took the narrow train from Wells-on-Sea. We didnt stay long, we had a nice cup of tea in the pub, which actually did have a warm fire and the landlord wasnt grumpy at all!
It was chilly on both days, but you have to go a long way to see lovely scenery like this. I only live an hour from these places, so the landscape is very much the same. I love the Coast though.
Hope you enjoy.
Seals off Blakeney Point, September 2014
This footage was taken during a boat trip with the Beans boat trips crew from Morston Quay, out to see the seals off of Blakeney Point off the North Norfolk coastline.
In this video you will see the large amount of seals there are out on the spithead of Blakeney Point. Apologies for any shaking of the camera, however I was in a boat at the time.
Filmed on my Sony Cyershot DSC-H55 digital camera on 28th September 2014.
