Hungary - Gellert Hill and Szep Ilona - TV Traveller
Slightly more than one half of Hungary's landscape consists of flat to rolling plains of the Carpathian Basin: the most important plain regions include the Little Hungarian Plain in the west, and the Great Hungarian Plain in the southeast. The highest elevation above sea level on the latter is only 183 metres.

STORYLINE:
Parts of Europe continued to swelter in a heat wave on Tuesday, with Eastern Europe in particular experiencing unusually high temperatures for this time of the year.
In the Hungarian capital, Budapest, tourists and locals alike took to the city's fountains in an attempt to keep cool in temperatures of over 30 Degrees Celsius (86 Degrees Fahrenheit).
According to a recent forecast, cooler weather is expected this coming weekend.
But until then authorities are warning people to stay out of direct sunlight in the middle of the day.
In Rome, tourists dipped their hands in the waters of the world famous Trevi Fountain, looking for relief from a heat wave that has hit the capital and most of the country, caused by a 'heat bubble' coming from Africa, according to experts.
American tourist, Mary Cornaldo, says it's the last time she visits the city in July.
This is the second time I've been to Rome in July, and I would never do it again. I only came because my granddaughters can only come in July. But I love Rome in September, October, November.
According to forecasts temperatures will be higher than the seasonal average this week, reaching 37 Degrees Celsius (99 Degrees Fahrenheit) and even 40 Degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) in cities like Messina, Pescara and Perugia.
Six cities have been classified at risk by the Italian Civil Protection.
But shade and a mud bath were essential for some.

STORYLINE
Humans and animals alike struggled to keep cool in a heatwave affecting parts of Europe on Thursday.
Serbian authorities advised people to stay indoors and drink lots of water as temperatures climbed towards 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit).
Even the animals at the Belgrade Zoo found the temperatures hard to take.
Zoo keeper Nadja Radovic says ensuring the animals remain cool and get plenty of fluids is key.
'We have to take certain measures when conditions are like this. We shower the bears and elephants, we give them lots of fresh food. Animals who eat fruit get more fruit than usual, she said.
Temperatures soared in Hungary too.
Hundreds of people cooled off in Budapest's fountains.
As five-year-old Anna Racz put it: It's the best place to be in this heat, because we can put our feet into the water.
Her sound advice came as officials warned temperatures on paved roads could climb as high as 60 degrees Celsius (140 Fahrenheit).

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED IN BUDAPEST | Jem Pascual
I'm baaaack! It's been a while since I last posted but here you go. This was my trip to Budapest way back in March 2019. It had so many unexpected twist and turns and I had way more fun than expected. Enjoy! :)
P.S. Excuse me constantly changing from Italian to English. I keep forgetting to speak only in English. Also, the audio and transitions from song to song is really bad in this vlog. The app I've been using to edit videos made an update and I'm still getting the hang of it.
