San Benito County - Bear Gulch Cave Hike
This is a short hike. Nevertheless, its an intriguing hike which includes some technical challenges. Pinnacles National Park offers scenery that's weirdly beautiful. The hike through the cave requires some rock climbing. Its dark so bring a flashlight and expect water. The boulder lined reservoir at the top of the cave makes an attractive highlight.

Pinnacles National Park
Hi everybody, this is a short video of our day hike at Pinnacles National Park.
This is our second attempt at this because we brought our lovely dog, Matcha with us the first time and dogs are not allowed at Pinnacles Nation Park.
The park has a $10 parking fee, which you will need to pay at the main store upon arrival. The pass is good for 7 days, so its not a bad deal if you plan on coming back.
We took the Bear Gulch Trail down to the reservoir and back up to High Peaks Trail. However we had to cut our hike short as we needed to make our 2.5 hours drive back to San Francisco. In total, our hike was 5.6 miles.

San Benito County - Old Pinnacles Hike
This hike begins on a primarily level trail beside a creek. The creek canyon gradually narrows as it approaches twisted rock formations and immense cliffs. The trail through the Balconies Cave requires boulder climbing and wading through water in the dark. The Balconies Cliffs Trails climbs to the base of a rock monolith. There are many challenging rock climbing opportunities. Varied wildflowers bloom along the trail.

BTW, the owner of the Confusion Hill road side attraction accused my wife (who was waiting in the car while I flew) of camping and threatened to get a gun. What a psycho.

Glamping Campout at Thousand Trails Idyllwild
About 7000+ ft up in Southern California at Idyllwild after the summer break so not too many people at the campsite. Got a nice quiet and fairly long full hookup (Water, Sewer and Electricity) spot for a weekend of camping and hiking in my Lance 1575 Travel Trailer.
The campsite easily fits my trailer and truck and some more. While there is reservation, it does not guarantee a specific site. You will have to drive around to find one. If you are in a bigger/longer rig, it might be a challenge to maneuver around the campground.
