Beaumont Park is a suburb of Huddersfield, in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England that is located between Netherton, Crosland Moor and Lockwood.
The housing in area of Beaumont Park is situated around the periphery of a medium-sized woodland and recreational park, known as 'Dungeon Wood' that was bequeathed to the people of Huddersfield in 1879 by the 'Beaumont's of Whitley' estate (Henry Fredrick Beaumont, for leisure purposes. Adjacent to the park is Beagle Woods, which is a popular venue for walkers. The wood is home to a kennels with a working pack of English Beagle hounds.

The park was officially opened on 13 October 1883, by Prince Leopold, fourth son of Queen Victoria, and his wife Princess Helena of Waldeck and Pyrmont (The Duke and Duchess of Albany). It was Huddersfield's first public park and is a fine example of a Victorian park. The park is maintained by Kirklees Council with assistance from a group of volunteers interested in returning the grounds to their former glory, who have instigated many improvements to the park including a new bandstand and water cascades.
In 2011 the park was awarded a first 'Green Flag Award' by the Environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy organisation and has retained it each subsequent year.

Huddersfield is a large market town in West Yorkshire, England. It is the 11th largest town in the United Kingdom, with a population of 162,949 at the 2011 census. It lies 14 miles (23 km) southwest of Leeds and 24 miles (39 km) northeast of Manchester.
Huddersfield is near the confluence of the River Colne and the River Holme. Within the historic county boundaries of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is the largest urban area in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees and the administrative centre of the borough. The town is known for its role in the Industrial Revolution, and for being the birthplaces of rugby league, Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson, and the film star James Mason.
Huddersfield is home to rugby league team Huddersfield Giants, founded in 1895, who play in the Super League, and Premier League football team Huddersfield Town A.F.C., founded in 1908. The town is home to the University of Huddersfield and the sixth form colleges Greenhead College, Kirklees College and Huddersfield New College.
Huddersfield is a town of Victorian architecture. Huddersfield railway station is a Grade I listed building described by John Betjeman as the most splendid station façade in England, second only to St Pancras, London. The station in St George's Square was renovated at a cost of £4 million and subsequently won the Europa Nostra award for European architecture.
