It has an area of about 250 acres (1.0 km2)
The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture and there is a lake
with a miniature of the archipelago in the middle of it, Gondola, Mini Highway Train, museums, Keong Emas Imax cinema,
a theater called the Theatre of My Homeland (Theater Tanah Airku)
and other recreational facilities which make TMII one of the mostpopular tourist destinations in the city for Family Recreations and Education for all ages.

Welcome amoung the most beautiful birds of Indonesia in Bird Park Taman Mini Indonesia. Taman Mini Indonesia Bird Park is one of the oldest bird parks in the country, opened in 1976. It boasts thousands of birds.
The birds, comprising 175 different types, live inside nine domes. Taman Mini Indonesia Bird Park is also equipped with a cafeteria and fish pond.
Part conservation center and part attraction, the Bird Park hopes to educate park visitors about the importance of environmental conservation efforts to protect the nature and wildlife of Indonesia.

My trip to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, Indonesia.

I feel that I am in all part of indonesia because it is a landmark of indonesia. And I already known that indonesia have 400 over ethnic groups and 300 over language. So that, in this park, you can see all of indonesia's ethnic groups culture.

Taman Mini encapsulates the cultural heritage of Indonesia in one huge park. It has a number of museums, pavilions and bird parks. If you want to see how wonderful Indonesia is in just one day, Taman Mini is an amazing place to visit!

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) or Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park (literally translated) is a culture-based recreational area located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of about 250 acres (1.0 km2). The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture, with virtually all aspects of daily life in Indonesia's 26 (in 1975) provinces encapsulated in separate pavilions with the collections of Indonesian architecture, clothing, dances and traditions are all depicted impeccably. Apart from that, there is a lake with a miniature of the archipelago in the middle of it, cable cars, museums, Keong Emas Imax cinema, a theater called the Theatre of My Homeland (Theater Tanah Airku) and other recreational facilities which make TMII one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. Since 2007 Taman Mini Indonesia Indah launched new logo with branding slogan Pesona Indonesia (Indonesian Charm).
On December 31, 2014 World Peace Committee decided TMII as International Civilization Park and World Peace Theme Park

A 140-hectare (350-acre) zoo located in Pasar Minggu. Home to over 270 species of animals, 171 species of flora. Closed every Monday for maintenance and to provide a quiet day for the animals.

Jakarta Cathedral
A Roman Catholic Cathedral. The seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Jakarta. Was consecrated in 1901 and built in the neo-gothic style. Official name: The Church of Our Lady of Assumption.

Wisma 46
The tallest building in Indonesia. A 250 m tall (roof height) skyscraper located in the Kota BNI-Maybank complex. The 48 storey office tower was completed in 1996. Located on a 15 ha lot in the city centre.

Merdeka Square
A large square located in the center of the city. Measuring one square kilometer in area, if the surrounding fields within the Merdeka Square are included, it is considered the largest square in the world or one of the largest.

A theme park with over 30 rides and attractions. ivided into eight regions which are Jakarta, Indonesia, Asia, Africa, America, Europe, and Fantasi Hikayat (Legendary Fantasy) region featuring Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt architecture.

Taman Prasasti Museum
A museum. Was formerly a cemetery, built by the Dutch colonial government in 1795 as a final resting place for noble Dutchmen. The oldest of its kind in Jakarta and may have been the oldest modern cemetery in the world.
