Tokyo Nightlife in Japan: TOP 30 Bars & Clubs
This is my Ultimate Tokyo Nightlife Guide featuring the TOP 30 bars & nightclubs which I carefully selected including places such as Club Camelot, Hollow Point, Fight Club 428, ELE Tokyo, 1 OAK, Buri and of course Ageha, the best nightclub in Japan. Subscribe to my channel ► for weekly videos!
NEW: 7-Day Tokyo Pocket Itinerary
+ tons of Tokyo discount tickets
Tokyo is absolutely massive, with most popular nightlife hot spots located in Shibuya, Roppongi and Shinjuku districts. There are so many bars and nightclubs in Tokyo, you may wonder - Where do I start? Based on age, I would say Shibuya is for the Japanese youth/teenagers, Roppongi for the 25+ crowd and Shinjuku for the 35+ crowd.
Join the Tokyo Pub Crawl for just $24 + 20% discount!

Osaka Nightlife: TOP 20 Bars & Clubs (NEW)
The best possible thing you can do is join the Tokyo Pub Crawl on Friday in Roppongi and explore the nightlife of Shibuya on Saturday, those are the best days for an epic weekend in Tokyo.
If you make new friends in Tokyo, you will eventually be asked to be added to LINE. LINE is 'the' chat app in Japan, so if you do not have DATA on your phone during your stay, make sure to rent a dirt cheap pocket Wifi station at the airport. You can take these pocket Wifi stations all over the country and allow you to connect many of your devices. It even fits in your back pocket. Luckily, there is a 30% discount on Ninja pocket Wifi stations on Voyagin. I personally rent this device everytime when I visit Japan.
30% discount on Ninja Pocket Wifi rental, pickup at Airport
- just $6 USD per day!
(works all over Japan)
Nightlife in Japan is beyond incredible! The most popular nightclubs in Tokyo include Club Camelot in Shibuya, ELE Tokyo in Roppongi and Ageha Nightclub in Koto City. Ageha is the best nightclub in Japan, it will be an all night event since it is quite far from downtown but on a big event night you will be amazed by the gorgeous girls, cool dudes and a fantastic sound system. This mega club stays open until 5am and should be high on your Tokyo party bucket list.
Tokyo has the best quality of food in the world, that's why you have to visit at least one of its many izakaya's to try a bunch of authentic Japanese dishes, like Eihire (grilled stingray), Sakura (raw horse meat) and Yakitori (skewered chicken meat). Visit izakaya's Umiya or Sumire in Shibuya to enjoy these dishes.
After dinner join the Tokyo Pub Crawl on Friday @ 8pm which lasts until 12am (4 hours) during which you will visit 3 bars and 1 epic nightclub. Tokyo Pub Crawl is a great event to meet travelers, locals, expats and fully hosted in English. What many travelers do not realize is that English isn't commonly spoken at bars and nightclubs, thus the pub crawl is a great first start. The Tokyo Pub Crawl is ONLY $20 USD for 4 hours of fun, you truly cannot go wrong.
Studying a bit of Japanese and learning common phrases prior to your arrival will definitely make your nightlife experience in Japan 10x times better. I've made many incredible friends during my 6 visits to Japan and these have been some of my most treasured memories by being able to speak a bit of Japanese.
I truly have seen it all in Tokyo since my first Tokyo Nightlife experience back in 2007 - I've seen many bars and clubs come and go, that's why I decided to compile the best possible list for an epic party weekend in the capital of Japan.
Food in Tokyo is very important to me, I highly recommend you also watch my video: 10 MUST-EAT Foods in Tokyo. Also, do not forget to join the insane Mario Kart Tokyo experience which you can purchase with a 37% discount for Mario Kart Tokyo, speaking of discounts, there is a 34% discount for the Robot Restaurant as well.
34% OFF Robot Restaurant
In conclusion, the Tokyo Nightlife is one of world's finest but often travelers have no idea where to go or where to start. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to where the good parties are in town that's why I decided to create this master Tokyo nightlife list of all the things I learned about Tokyo during my 6x visits in the past decade.

Taipei Internship Placement (Programme Overview)
Let our Taipei Branch Manager Daniel Miller tell you more about InternChina’s Taipei Placement Programme.
Daniel will introduce you to a city that may be a little under your radar. This is not just a city that is capable of captivating you with its beauty and culture, but the ideal place to start your career in Asia.
Skip to:
0:40- FOOD CULTURE
2:27 - ECONOMY AND PROSPECTS
3.45 - EXPLORE AND THRIVE
4:26 - SUPPORT FROM INTERNCHINA
FOOD CULTURE-
One of the best ways to discover Taipei is to try and eat the different cuisines. Taipei is a melting pot of lots of different Asian Cultures and traditional and modern influences, and the food reflects this aspect. For sure, you can taste the dominant Chinese influence and sample cuisines from every province: Dainty little ‘Dimsum’ from Guangzhou to the tantalizing spice of Sichuan. Also, Taipei arguably has the best Japanese food outside Japan and the best Korean food outside Korea. With a large immigrant population from across South East Asia as well- delicious Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, and Filipino food is also readily available.
ECONOMY AND PROSPECTS-
In terms of Economy and prospects, The Economist ranks Taipei as having the 5th highest nominal GDP in East Asia, behind Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Thankfully, the accommodation rental and living costs is nowhere as high which makes it intern friendly. The Financial Times and Business Insider regard Taipei as having huge business potential and the most high-tech city in East Asia. Google has its Asian headquarters here for instance, and most of the fortune 500 companies do so too.
We are currently partnered with more than 60 companies, offering over 100 unique opportunities in Start-ups, small and medium Size businesses, and large corporates. And these numbers will only increase week after week. We are confident in finding the placement that suits your academic background, but more importantly your ambitions. We help you with writing CVs and cover letters at the application stage, walk you through the Interview and then directly liaise with the host company to make sure it is the right placement for you.
EXPLORE AND THRIVE –
Welcome to a city that is renowned for its blend of Chinese, Japanese and Western influences. Every street corner in older neighbourhoods breathes history and tradition; neighbourhoods have 300-year-old Taoist and Confucian temples next to creaky restored Japanese mansions. Taipei houses the National Palace Museum, which is a condensed treasure trove full of the Jewels and artefacts of China’s rich 5000-year-old history.
There is plenty to discover and a year is not nearly enough to discover all of its secrets and charms.
SUPPORT FROM INTERNCHINA -
As a team we are always here to support you from pre-departure support regarding the Visa. We help you do all parts of the application and process it as part of the programme. We answer any questions or concerns you may have before you set off.
When you arrive, you will have 24-hour on-site support in Taipei. We will pick you up from the airport, give you an orientation to the city and the culture; introduce you to the host company, support you in finding accommodation; organising weekly dinners with all of the interns and regular intern activities- such as surfing, networking events, and trips to other parts of Taiwan.
We are also partnered with a top language school to offer competitively priced Chinese classes should you wish to learn the lingo during your time here.
We are here to make sure you make the best of your experience in Taipei.

Taiwan is a Hidden Gem
The term ‘hidden gem’ gets used a lot - probably a little too often - when it comes to describing travel destinations. For Taiwan, however, it feels justified. There’s so much to see and experience on this beautiful island in Asia. In this video I’m sharing some of my top picks, but make sure to check the rest of our Taiwan (台灣) series for more.????

Best & Worst Japanese Beauty Products
EXPAND!
Hey lovelies!!
I decided to do this video because I rarely hear reviews on Japanese cosmetics. The japanese market is so saturated with beauty products that it can sometimes be overwhelming. I absolutely LOVE asian cosmetics, mainly because they suit my skin better and not forgetting the amazing cute and pretty packaging it always comes in! BIG THUMBS UP!
Hopefully this video will give you some ideas what to try etc. Obviously, all opinions are personal ones so please don't feel obliged to take them on board, we all have different views, skin types etc
I mainly buy my asian products when I visit Hong Kong otherwise I would buy them online from Sasa.com, Adambeauty, Ichibankao.

While in Japan I noticed vending machines everywhere. Looking into it a little deeper a discovered that there's a very interesting answer to why Japan has so many vending machines. It's an economic story but it's also a story about how Japanese society values robotics and automation.
I even found a business card vending machine:

Plastic Surgery: The Cost of Beauty | 101 East
Seoul, South Korea's capital, is at the heart of a growing obsession to look perfect.
In the Apgujeong district of Seoul, the streets are lined with endless rows of plastic surgery clinics. Business is booming. In South Korea, v-shaped jaws, double eyelids and dimpled smiles are all the rage and people from across the nation, and the world, are flocking to the clinics for plastic surgery, supporting an industry worth $5bn a year.
More than 4,000 clinics provide cosmetic surgery in Seoul, with an estimated 650,000 people a year going under the knife.
But the surgeries performed by some of the clinics do not always live up to patients' expectations and the quest for beauty and profits is putting lives at risk.
So Yi Yoon has suffered many medical problems since having plastic surgery, including not being able to close one of her eyes. She now works two jobs to pay off her debts and is suffering from depression.
On this edition of 101 East, we look at what is driving the growth of this booming business and at what price to individuals and the wider Korean society?
101 East delves into Korea's plastic surgery craze and uncovers the real price of pursuing physical perfection.

Thank you to Iijima-san for doing my hair!! I obviously never knew how much of a difference a real hair salon makes so I don't think I can ever go back to just cutting my hair myself!
