Tredegar House Gardens and Grounds of Tredegar House National Trust
Tredegar House (Welsh: Tŷ Tredegar) is a 17th-century Charles II-era country house mansion at the western edge of the city of Newport, Wales, that for over five hundred years was home to the Morgan family, later Lords Tredegar; one of the most powerful and influential families in the area.
Described as The grandest and most exuberant country house in Monmouthshire and one of the outstanding houses of the Restoration period in the whole of Britain, the mansion stands in a reduced landscaped garden of 90 acres (0.36 km2) (0.14 of a square mile) forming the non-residential part of Tredegar Park. The property became a Grade I listed building on 3 March 1952[2] and has been under the care of the National Trust since March 2012.

Public House with Letting Accommodation in Tredegar Gwent For Sale
Tredegar, Gwent, Wales
Advert Ref: 2845
Business Description
Preferred Commercial is delighted to offer for sale this thriving public house with letting accommodation, which was established in 1900 and which has been in our client's careful hands since 1997. The pub is only now offered to the market due to our client's other business interests. The business trades all year round and generates a turnover in the region of £210,000 per annum with a gross profit of 60%. Ye Olde Red Lion offers real ales, fine wines and spirits, along with 9 guest bedrooms. There is also a restaurant and a function room, which previously opened as a nightclub. A new owner could, if desired, re-establish the restaurant to increase turnover. We feel the business would benefit from a modest marketing campaign and the introduction of a website advertising the business and services provided. The pub is well-supported by the local community and tourists alike. The premises have been well-maintained and boast a large function room and a commercial kitchen. There is also 2-bedrom owners' apartment with lounge, kitchen, 2 offices and bathroom. This is an ideal opportunity to acquire an already busy public house in such as a desirable location with huge scope for future growth. Early negotiations with Preferred Commercial must come highly recommended.
