Cologne is a 2000 year old city in western Germany spanning the Rhine River. Some things to do in Cologne include visiting the Cologne Cathedral and doing a sightseeing cruise!
Restaurants we visited in Cologne are Bei d'r Tant Kolsch and the second one was supposed to be Bierhaus en d'r Salzgass but outside there is a whole plaza of brewhouses!
German foods to eat in Cologne include:
-Halve Hanh, a famous traditional sandwich. Name is half a rooster but there's no meat!
-Himmel und Erde, fried black pudding with mashed potatoes, apple sauce and onions!
-Mettbrotchen, raw pork sausage meat on bread!
-Kolsch, the beer of Colgone! Must try this beer in Germany :)!

Australians Try German Beer | German Beer Tour Hamburg
Today we are in Hamburg, Germany and are spending the day doing the most stereotypical German thing we could think of... Drinking German beer! As it was our only full day to explore this beautiful city, we figured what could be more appropriate than spending the day trying local German beers??
We chose to go on a craft beer tasting/walking tour with Alternative Hamburg, which cost us €35.00 each. The tour took us to three different local venues; The Craft Beer Store, Rathuseum Microbrewery and Schmidtchen Schanze, where we tried a total of six local craft beer brewed locally in Hamburg.
Alternative Hamburg Tours:
Our tour gives you the chance to get in contact with the local brewery scene. Learn about the long history of beer in Hamburg and its relations to the harbor. On this tour, you will visit brewpubs, specialist stores, and bars and taste different styles of beers. Feel the passion of the brewers and taste their unique beers as we walk through the exciting nightlife and craft beer spots in St Pauli´s Sternschanze neighborhood

Travel to Cologne Köln Germany - Kolsch Beeer
Let's travel to the German City of Cologne Köln to learn more about the beer style Kolsch. I've sampled quite a few Kolsch on my visit to Cologne.

Flow from Arlande to Bonn airport. On the way home I stoped in Brussels Belgium and Amsterdam Holland Netherlands. What to think about when making a Kolsch recipe for brewing your own Kolsch Style beer at home. Talking about the Kolsch yeast wlp029, Wyeast 2565 and the Cross my loaf Kolsch yeast.

Fassler Hall brings German food and beer to Little Rock
Amanda and Rob's next Eat It Up stop takes them to Fassler Hall, a new German beer hall in Little Rock.
Cologne, Land of the Kölsch.
We would like to indroduce Tim, the Beer Pilgrim, who explored the traditional drink of Cologne - the Kölsch beer:
There are few places on earth where the locals are more proud of their local beer style than the Cologners are about their Kölsch. So proud in fact that they have actually protected it by law! To visit Cologne and experience this local beer style is something every beer lover has to do at least once in their life – this is my experience.

EUROPE VLOG #3 - What to See & Eat in Cologne, Germany!!
We only had a day and a half in Cologne, Germany but I think we saw all of the major buildings/sites! The most amazing thing was definitely the Cologne Cathedral. The walk across the Rhine River is beautiful, there are probably millions of locks attached to the bridge, and so is the view on the other side! Max Stark was 100% our favourite restaurant atmosphere and food wise. Kebapland was kind of far but definitely delicious and cheap! The schnitzel at Bei Oma was a bit more expensize but HUGE. We probably wouldn't go there again since the portions were so big we couldn't finish them and they don't taste good the next day. NEXT STOP: PARIS :)

If you have one day to eat, this German food tour of Munich will give you some serious satisfaction. I have to admit, I going to multiple back to back restaurants to eat German food is a challenge - German food is so hearty and so filling. By the end of this food tour in Munich, I was ready to sleep immediately!
Here are all the details about the restaurants and prices of the dishes I ate:
1. Andy's Krablergarten
Andy's Krablergarten is known for their schnitzel, and they serve it up in a huge way. The cutlets are made from pork, and they are big and fried fresh. I tried a Hamburg schnitzel with eggs and a Munich style schnitzel with horseradish in the breading. It was fantastic.
Address: Thalkirchner Str. 2, 80337 München, Germany
Price: 10.90 EUR per schnitzel
2. Andechser am Dom
This is a nice German food restaurant, located on the side of Munich Frauenkirche, a major landmark in the heart of Munich. They serve a variety of traditional German Bavarian cuisine. My favorite dish was the mixed sausage plate, but the leberkäse was also good.
Address: Weinstraße 7A, 80333 München, Germany
Total price: 36.30 EUR
3. Ice cream at Schuhbeck's Eissalon
Address: Pfisterstraße 11, 80331 München, Germany
4. Bergwolf
Bergwolf is a German fast food restaurant in Munich, and their speciality is currywurst, a plate of sausage topped in sauce and fries. It’s not the healthiest of all German dishes, but it sure tastes pretty amazing - one of those 3 am kind of dishes.
Address: Fraunhoferstraße 17, 80469 München, Germany
Price: 5.40 EUR
5. Augustiner Bräustuben
Augustiner Bräustuben is a classic German brewery and restaurant in Munich, Germany. You’ll find some very classic Bavarian dishes on their menu and a good selection of beer.
Address: Landsberger Str. 19, 80339 München, Germany
Total price: 24.25 EUR
Thank you for watching this German food tour of Munich. I hope it will provide you with some tips on where to eat amazing German food when you’re in Munich!

Eat Germany - 5 Foods You Have to Eat in Germany
Germany is full of amazing food choices, from traditional German specialties like Schweinbraten and Knoedel to international fair to the old standby of a Bratwurst. Here we have five things people should eat when they visit Germany, because you do not always have time to eat everything that a country has to offer. So here are our foodie five.
• Drink the Beer: No, beer isn’t food, but in Germany it is just as vital to have beer as food and what is great about the beer in Germany is that each region or city will have its own traditional beer brands as well as a the possibility of its own beer style. So whether you like pilsner, lager or black beer there will be something for you.
• Yes, Eat the Sausages: Thueringer Rostbratwurst is the definitive bratwurst you should have in Germany. But it is not the only sausage, from the small Nuremberger bratwurst to a frankfurter to Weisswurst, Germany is full of sausages that you should try.
• Pork, Pork & More Pork: Germany seems to be the capital of Pork eating and for good reason. There are a number of amazing pork dishes in Germany. Haxe or a grilled pork shoulder or perhaps boiled instead (Eisbein) or as Schweinbraten, or maybe smashed down into a pork schnitzel. You will not run out of way eat Scwein in Germany.
• The Bread: Germany has amazing bakeries in the large cities and small towns and you should take advantage of that. From Brotchen (small rolls) to loaves of dark thick dense bread to the amazing cakes and treats you can’t go wrong with bread in Germany.
• The Garnishes or Die Beilagen: German menus do not give you an option with the side dishes. And they do that for good reason. The meals in Germany already have the recommended side dishes that go with those dishes so you don’t pick and choose. So you may have sweet red cabbage (Rotkohl) or traditional Sauerkraut. There is always potatoes in their many forms as well, Pommes (fries), Kroketten (croquettes), perhaps as a dumpling? And the noodles aren’t too bad either, nor are the soups. Just trust the menu with your side dishes in Germany
Guten Appetit!

DUSSELDORF FOOD TOUR! | EATING MY WAY AROUND DUSSELDORF GERMANY
Today we're in Dusseldorf Germany as the travel blogger food tour press trip continues.
The theme of the day is delicious desserts but we're going to start with a three hour culinary tour of Dusseldorf. On this Dusseldorf food tour, we visit some of the city's most iconic shops and restaurants, including the oldest brewery in Dusseldorf, a famous mustard shop and a really cool outdoor market, where we stop for coffee and cake.
After three hours of trying all the best food in Dusseldorf, it's time to try making something ourselves at a pop cake class. It's the first time I've baked in over 15 years, so I'm scared but excited. The cake pops came out surprisingly well, however, although sadly I was still too full to eat them!
I hope you enjoy joining me on this food tour of Dusseldorf. The city really surprised with its variety, and it definitely had more to offer than the traditional German food I'd imagined before arriving.
This Dusseldorf tour was part of a press trip to Dusseldorf, organised by the tourism board. Check out my last video to see why I was there and find out more:
