Buses in York, England - 2016
Public transport within the city is largely bus based. First York operates the majority of the city's local bus services, as well as the York park and ride services. York was the location of the first implementation of FirstGroup's experimental, and controversial, ftr bus concept, which sought to confer the advantages of a modern tramway system at a lower cost. The service was withdrawn following an election manifesto pledge by the Labour Group at the 2011 local government election.[134] Transdev York and also operate a large number of local bus services. Open top tourist and sightseeing buses are operated by Transdev York on behalf of City Sightseeing.

Seaburn Bus Rally 2019
The N.E.B.P.T. Seaburn Historic Vehicle Display is held once a year on the August Bank Holiday. All of the beautiful buses, coaches, and cars filled The Recreation Park at Seaburn which is located at the seafront in Sunderland.
As you can see this event was very successful as it attracted lots of people. All ages turned up to check out all of the vintage and modern vehicles which were on display. On top of that, the Bank Holiday weather could not have been better.
This event would not have been successful if it wasn’t for companies like Go North East, Stagecoach and East Yorkshire Buses. Alongside enthusiasts who spend their time and money storing old vehicles and bringing them to events like this. As well as everyone at The North East Bus Preservation Trust who works hard to organize events like this. So thank you to everyone involved!
I always enjoy going to these events and making videos like this one. I hope you have enjoyed this video if so stay tuned for more coming in the future!

Based at Reading for a week to explore the South Downs and the surrounding area a lot of ground was covered between February and March 2019 visiting many new places.

Bus trip: Stapleford Turn to Wymondham, 22nd May 2010
The view from the Rutland Flyer RF2 bus, travelling from Stapleford Turn to arrive at the Berkeley Arms, Wymondham, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire in the East Midlands of England.
This journey took place on Saturday, 22nd May 2010 leaving Melton at 5pm and arriving in Wymondham at about 5:15pm. The driver was unfamiliar with the route (reading a sheet of directions on the steering wheel) and drove more slowly than might be expected. There was also a 20mph speed restriction due to the loose chippings from resurfacing Melton Road and Main Street, Wymondham.
A banner publicizing the Wymondham May Festival is passed at Saxby Turn and there's a brief glimpse of the Festival on the Sedley Playing Fields as we travel through the village.
The bridge over the old railway line on the outskirts of the village was opened especially, to cater for the May Festival traffic. It had been closed for several weeks for infilling work to strengthen it, with traffic diverted through Saxby and Garthorpe and down Butt Lane to Wymondham. The warning signs approaching the bridge, from when its width had been restricted to single file traffic, are still in place. They were removed before the road was reopened the following Friday.

Northampton Station
Northampton Railway Station will be a modern gateway to the town, with more capacity and better facilities. At almost twice the size of the current station, it will welcome visitors, commuters and businesses for generations to come.
Located in the Northampton Enterprise Zone, the new station will be 2,500 sqm in size. Standing three storeys tall, it will be a bright and welcoming station with a large glass facade. Later phases could include a 1270 space multi-storey car park connected to the new station via a footbridge. This would free up land for a 28,000 sqm commercial development on the existing car park site.
When To Drive In Bus Lanes - UK Driving Lessons
When to use bus lanes
Look out for a blue bus lane that will tell you when the bus lane is in operation. If it has no times then it will be operational 24 hours a day and should be avoided. If you are allowed in the bus lane then you should use it (if it's safe and convenient) to allow other road users to overtake you and ease congestion. Failure to use a bus lane when you're allowed to use it on the driving test could result in a serious fault (fail).
Bus lane markings start as a dash line turning into a solid white line.
