Changyu company was founded in 1892 by the modern patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Chang Bishi in Yantai city of Shandong Province in China, revealing the industrialization era of China wine production. After 123 years of development, Changyu is now the largest wine production and operation enterprise in China and even Aisa.
In 2006, Changyu Cabernet had successfully edged into 3,000 European supermarkets, European mail-order sales system, European wine shops, European five-star hotels and Germany Deutsche Lufthansa first-class cabins, being the first Chinese wine brand that had stepped into European mainstream market

Austria's Grüner Man Laurenz Moser is the patron of Chateau Changyu Moser XV in China
Laurenz Maria Moser V. of LAURENZ V. Grüner Veltliner in Austria has cooperated closely with Changyu, the oldest and most innovative winery in China. Moser has successfully distributed his LAURENZ V. wines through Changyu in China, and at the same time, has consulted the Chinese winery and distributed their Chinese wines in Europe. Now Changyu has named its new winery, the Chateau Changyu Moser XV in the province of Ningxia, as a note of respect for Laurenz Moser.
