Tianjin is the 4th largest city in China, after Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Tianjin boasts the largest artificial harbor in northern China with 30 different sea routes leading to over 300 of the world's ports. Nor is its activity confined to commerce, as an increasing number of Chinese seek adventure overseas, and cruise liners proliferate.
With so much on offer in Tianjin, with places to locate, hotels to book and transport to be arranged, wouldn't it be good if you could just forget all that, go there and enjoy yourself? Well, that's why we went there.

Beidaihe is a beautiful city near to the sea in Hebei province of China. It is nearby to Beijing and Tianjin and close to Bohai sea coast. Being a city of China it almost looks like Russian. China has made it a strategy to integrate the development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei for a better economic structure, cleaner environment and improved public services.
The border point between the three has become a tourist attraction.
Tianjin Zoo and Water Park, | China（天津动物园与水上公园）
Tianjin Zoo is located in the south of the scenic Water Park, while the Tianjin TV Tower can be seen in the north. Covering a total area of 53.77 hectares with a water area of 10.68 hectares, the zoo possesses more than 180 various species and over 1,800 animals, including the first-class national protected animals such as Giant panda, Sinerian Tiger, Golden Monkey, Golden Takin, Red-crowned Crane and the second-class national protected animals like lesser Panda, Swan, Lynx etc. There are also precious and rare animals from exotic lands, including Jaguar, lion, Asian Elephant Chimpanzee, Giraffe, Rhinoceros, Macaw and so on, the tourists can appreciate the world rare animals without going out of Tianjin.
Tianjin Water Park is located in the south of the city. Covering an area of 494 acres (200 hectares), half of which is under water, the park is one of the ten most attractive sights in Tianjin and regarded as the 'West Lake' in Northern China. Built in 1950, it comprises three lakes and nine islets.
