How to get to Belen Waterfall, Costa Rica

In this episode of Living in Costa Rica, we show you how to get to the Belen Waterfall between Samara and Nicoya, Costa Rica. This time we go in the green season and the water is flowing a lot more then when we went in February of 2018. The waterfall is a lot easier to find now that they put up a sign and fixed the driveway into the parking lot. We hope you enjoy this video!

Snorkeling and Belen Falls, Sarama, Costa Rica

We found a local, Pablo, who took us to the island that is right out in front of Samara Beach for us to snorkel. He was wonderful! Walker wasn't interested in putting his head underwater, so Pablo stayed with Walker the entire time and played with him in the water and on the shore while we snorkeled. They even found an octopus! (missing from video because we weren't with them of course)

At Belen waterfalls, it was a short hike from where our taxi dropped us off and swimming was nice. Even better though was just adventuring up and down the river in the jungle where we were completely secluded. Since we were there during the rainy season, the water wasn't clear as some experience during the dry season, but it was still wonderful nonetheless.
