I eventually went to Culinary School to combine my holistic nutrition education with some techniques to make my food really pretty and appealing to my Caribbean and Soul Food folks as well to make eating healthy attractive to my personal training clients.
It took me years to figure out that is was all the processed “health junk” that I was eating, poor sleep and stress fueling the acne. Everyone from all walks of life can benefit from consuming whole living unprocessed plant based nutrition. You can take it as far as you would like to go.
I have found preparing living foods to be a lot of creative fun, satisfying, as well as clearing up my skin. It is a relief to not have worry about dieting.

Yucatec Maya women from Cristo rey cooking and speaking in Maya in Corozal district. Many villages in Corozal like Xaibe,Chan Chen,Yo Chen ,Patchakan,San Pedro,Cristo rey and others are from Yucatec Maya origin. Today mostly elders speak Maya T'aan(Yucatec Maya). The youths speak mostly spanish but many Maya words are still used while speaking Spanish. Traditons like Hanal Pixan,Biix,Cha Chaac primicias, doing rituals a for the Alux are still practice in northern Belize
