Alexander Graham Bell Homestead - Brantford, Ontario, Canada
The Bell Homestead is located in Brantford, Ontario Canada. Watch the video and listen original voice of Thomas Watson who was Alexander Graham Bell's famous assistant. Thomas Watson was a gifted young electrician and model maker who helped Alexander Graham Bell to actualize his great ideas. The two of them were the perfect match and they labored on the project for almost a year until a happy accident occurred on June 2, 1875. While Watson worked to loosen a reed that was wound around an electromagnet, Bell heard a noticeable twang, and realized this effect could be recreated with the human voice. Visit for more info...
Historic Bell Homestead, Brantford Ontario
Alexander Graham Bell conceptualized the telephone in July 1874 at his family's Tutela Heights Brantford 1858 residence, 'Melville House', their home from 1870 on. Mr. Bell made his first long distance telephone call to nearby Paris, Ontario in August 1876, and thereby transformed our society. Bell Homestead
This was shot entirely on Thursday April 9,2009 in Brantford, Ontario. I travelled here with my friend Mark to add to our outings of historic/paranormal places. This is a continuation of the series which started with The Hermitage Ruins. I thought people who have never been to The Bell Homestead would like a mini tour and decided to put this montage together. After seeing this wonderful piece of history, I truly recommend going on this tour. I was thrilled to see some aspects of history are still alive and well,..................and have not met up with the wrecking ball!
