GORGES- Chambers Gorge & Parachilna Gorge.
STATIONS - Beltana Station
TRACKS - Oodnadatta
RUINS - Eringa
We spent four nights camping at Chambers Gorge, located on the Eastern side of the Flinders Ranges. The gorge is home to some of the best preserved Aboriginal Rock Engravings we've seen in South Australia.
Both of us worked for a fortnight at Beltana Station, located 40kms south of Leigh Creek. You can access three 4wd tracks and a free museum. The historic township of Beltana is work a look.
We started the Oodnadatta Track at Maree and followed it until we crossed the Northern Territory border. The track was in fairly good condition and features springs, waterholes, ruins and a remote desert landscape.

Some snippets from the Brachina Gorge in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Not really hard, but our first bit of proper off roading in our 4WD.
The GoPro was attached to the windscreen and never even budged, even after a week of this sort of stuff - impressed.
The Flinders Ranges & Outback of South Australia -- an exhilarating holiday destination.
Here is a video that I produced for the South Australian Tourism Commission about one of Australia's outstanding national landscapes -- The Flinders Ranges & The Outback. The very essence of Australia, this is nature at its most awe inspiring. It's a place of impossibly blue skies, immense landscapes and generous and open hearted people.
Special Thanks to the South Australian Tourism Commission for allowing me to post the clip and to Hypervision for shooting amazing pictures.
