Jane Jones is the Shoot Events Manager who will plan and deliver your shoot experience at Belvoir.
To complete your day we can offer bespoke evening entertainment such as whisky tasting, a casino night or maybe a medieval banquet.
Begin your day in the Castle’s magnificent Guard room; a warming cup of coffee awaits whilst you draw pegs for the day and meet the shoot team.
Head out for the morning drives with the team for the start of your day. You can choose when you would like to stop for lunch and where; return to the Castle and then have afternoon tea when shooting finishes; or have lunch out in the field at our cosy ‘Happy Beater’ barn and dinner at the Castle the end of the day – we will tailor the day to suit you. Whatever you decide, there will be an abundance of great food and drink, as well as great company and shooting

We decided to take a trip to Belvoir Castle to re-live some childhood memories!If you've ever grown up in Leicestershire, chances are you've visited Belvoir Castle! Unfortunately the castle was closed when we visited, so here is a full outside tour of the castle grounds! Luckily it was shooting season, so we have included a pheasant special in the video!
Belvoir Castle (/ˈbiːvə/ BEE-və) is a stately home in the English county of Leicestershire, overlooking the Vale of Belvoir (grid reference SK820337). It is a Grade I listed building. A corner of the castle is still used as the family home of the Manners family and remains the seat of the Dukes of Rutland, most of whom are buried in the grounds of the mausoleum there. The castle remains privately owned and is open to visitors.
The castle is near several villages, including Redmile, Woolsthorpe, Knipton, Harston, Harlaxton, Croxton Kerrial and Bottesford and the town of Grantham. Antiquarian John Leland wrote in the 16th century, the castle stands on the very nape of a high hill, steep up each way, partly by nature, partly by the working of men's hands.

Thank you for watching this video and welcome to my YouTube channel Wilson Philip.A few weeks ago, I went with a friend to the Engine Yard at Belvoir Castle in the Vale of Belvoir, Grantham, Leicestershire. The journey takes about 40 mins by car from Nottingham. The Engine Yard at Belvoir Castle is a retail village located right next to the car park and entrance of Belvoir Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland. There are several stores available at the retail village including shops selling farm produces and products, handmade chocolate, coffee, plants, homewares, fashion, accessories, gifts, crafts, toys, etc., as well as a spa salon, a yoga centre, holistic therapies wagon, a cafe, a restaurant, a bar, etc. The retail village also host various events throughout the year.
Started along University Blvd A6005, turned right for Clifton Blvd A52, continued to Gamston A52, Radcliffe on Trent A52, Bingham Bypass A52, Grantham Rd A52, then we turned right to Granby Lane to use small country roads and to see several villages ahead, continued straight to Granby Hill, Granby Village, continued straight to Plungar Rd/Granby Lane, Plungar Village, continued straight to Highgate Lane, turned left Long Lane, turned right to Woolsthorpe Rd, arrived at Belvoir Castle car park/Entrance/Engine Yard.

This camcorder gives reasonably good colour results in strong sunlight. Anything less than this, the colour tends to be washed-out. Moving or out-of-focus objects show definite blueing around edges. A good-buy 'snapshot' camcorder in it's range, but not one to buy if you want quality results.
Video editing suites can increase saturation, but will drastically reduce quality and increase pixelation with JVC GR-D270EK movies.
