In a multi media world full of MP3s, downloading and online streaming, it is hard for independent record shops to stay open, let alone thrive. Yet in one corner of Guildford, Ben Darnton is doing just that with his store.
2018 marks the 25 year anniversary since he first opened the doors to his place in Tunsgate.

Guildford's Popular Record Fair Is Back This Weekend
This Sunday sees the return of one of Guildford's most unique events, as the Record fair is back at the Guildhall.The fair has been taking place for 12 years now and is run by Bens Collectors Records, which is just on the edge of the Guildford Town Centre. Ahead of Sunday's event we went to speak to Ben to find out why the Record Fair is so special.
