In this episode, we visit the MAHANE YEHUDA MARKET to go shopping and buy all kinds of food before all restaurants and markets close for Shabbat. We go on a mission for some insanely fresh street foods, local specialty dishes from Iraq, Georgia and more, fresh fruits, juices, breads and olives. We even score some DELICIOUS, freshly baked desserts. The market was AMAZING & bustling!

Jerusalem: From Zion Square to King George - Passing Ben Yehudah Street

The video starts at Zion Square, then showing Jerusalem's downtown Ben Yehudah Street.

As a matter of fact, Ben Yehudah Street is more for tourists than for locals. There is nothing to shop for locals but tourists find quite a few souvenir shops. I advise you not to buy there, as prices are too high.

The memorial site with the green imprint is to commemorate the five Israelis who were killed by three Arab terrorist on 4 September 1997. These terrorist were suicide bombers who exploded themselves and killed, among each other, three Israeli teenager who were 14 years old.

The video ends where Ben Yehudah Street meets King George Street. The high building across the street is an office building. Next to it is a construction site where the We Work co - working space chain is planning its first branch in Jerusalem.

The weather is changing today although the sun was still out. However, it is getting cooler and rainy. :-)
