1 - Waza National Park
Located in the far northern region, Waza National Park was established in 1934 as a hunting reserve and is estimated to cover about 1,700 square kilometers. It was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1979 and is known for its wide range of flora and fauna, including lions, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles, and more. This park is managed by the Conservation Service of the Waza National Park.
2 - Mount Cameroon
Also known as “Mount Fako,” Mount Cameroon is an active volcanic mountain located near the Gulf of Guinea. The mountain is the highest point in sub-Saharan, western, and central Africa and is the fourth most prominent peak in Africa. Mount Cameroon is part of the larger Cameroon Volcanic Line, an active volcanic activity, which also encompasses Lake Nyos. The most recent volcanic eruption occurred in February 2012.
3 - Dja Wildlife Reserve
Dja Faunal Reserve , a.k.a. Guerillas Nature Reserve, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the southeastern side of Cameroon. The reserve is home to a diverse range of plant and animal species, including five endangered mammals such as white-collared mangabey, mandrill, drill-Western lowland gorilla and the chimpanzee. There are numerous charity projects supported by local and international donors for the maintenance of this reserve, which is part of the dense forests that make up the Congo Basin.

The building was constructed in the early 1930s by French colonizers and went on to serve as the official residence of the first President of Cameroon, Ahmadou Ahidjo. In 2014, the building was officially declared the National Museum of Cameroon through the Prime Minister’s decree. 8 - Cascadas de Ekom Nkam Waterfall
Located in the coastal region near Melong Town, the Cascadas de Ekom Nkam Waterfall has served as a background for shooting several movie scenes, including films such as Greystoke, the Legend of Tarzan, and King of the Apes. The waterfall is located on the popular River Nkam and is about 80 meters tall.
