All service is done with excellence, all details and antique decorations and ikebana flowers where would wouldn't expect, delicious dishes, charming outdoor hot spring, even their yukata are most pretty I have ever seen at any Ryokan in Japan!! Traditional style building and rooms with inner garden, situated downtown near the bustling attractions but also in a secluded quiet place. And really not expensive for all this luxurious feel in traditional Japanese kindhearted style!! The owner lady always wearing stunning kimonos is actually do cute and lovely and helpful at any time!

Umi Jigoku - Sea Hell. hot spring Hells of Beppu, Kyushu, Japan, 2008, One of the more beautiful hells, the sea hell features a pond of boiling, blue water. In its spacious gardens, there are a few secondary, orange colored hells and a large, clear water pond with lotus flowers whose large leaves are strong enough to carry small children.

Beppu, Oita Day 1
Here's day 1 from our weekend trip to Beppu, Oita.
It's not very exciting as we arrived in the afternoon and when we went to meet our friends, we had a tough time trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't full!
Anywho, hope you find it interesting and I definitely recommend visiting Beppu. Such a beautiful place!
