Japanese Keirin Track Day ファミリートラックフェスティバル 一宮競輪場 (FOE040)
Thanks to 104 Cycle ( for putting on this great event at the keirin velodrome in Ichinomiya. Bucyo Coffee ( provided the food, the fast and the fun as always.
Watch some of the local keirin professionals give a demonstration of how the races work. Guests had the chance to race a Kilo TT, a 6-man keirin and a short cyclocross race in the centre of the track. Take a look to see how the friends of FOE performed.

WATCHING PRO CYCLIST RACE! (ASIAN CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS)
It was a bit overwhelming watching these guys smash a 168km race at 45km/h. It was just gorgeous watching scathing attacks, breaks and sprints being flawlessly executed by these riders. Naveen was in the break, I was really hoping he'd finish with them. Arvind, Krishna and Naveen, man, they really did an amazing job! Yousif Mirza from UAE Team Emirates wins followed by 別府 史之 Fumy Beppu from Trek-Segafredo for Team Japan and Mehdi Sohrabi from Team Iran finishing third. The boys talk about the race while the sun sets over Nay Pyi Daw while my cameras focus decides to de-focus as it pleases. Final day at the Asian Cycling Championships 2018.

Josiah Ng from Malaysia becomes the first Asian to make the Olympic final in the Keirin.
He made a huge come back as exactly 4 months earlier he had a near fatal accident in training, losing 2 liters of blood requiring 14 stitches in his forehead, shattered his wrist, broke his nose and tooth.

Keirin Race at the San Diego Velodrome
Friday Night Racing featuring a Keirin race (monthly) for all levels of racers. 4 heats. The San Diego Velodrome has racing every Tuesday and Friday night from April thru September. Racing starts at 7pm and is free to watch.
