This is just a video of a day hike I took with my buddy, Tim Hurtak. We decided to check out the Pinnacles in Berea, KY, just an hour's drive from my hometown. This was one beautiful hike.

Driving through Berea, Kentucky
Berea is a home rule-class city in Madison County, Kentucky, in the United States. The town is best known for its art festivals, historic restaurants and buildings, and as the home to Berea College, a private, liberal arts college. The population was 13,561 at the 2010 census. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in Kentucky, having increased by 27.4% since 2000.
Berea is a principal city of the Richmond−Berea Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Madison and Rockcastle counties. It was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1890.

The Pinnacles of Berea. I always enjoyed hiking here when I was a student at Berea College and even after Berea College. These were videos I made on the Pinnacles of Berea.
The Pinnacles, Berea, Kentucky
Indian Fort Theater in Berea, Kentucky. The forest is owned and operated by Berea College. It's a 6.6 mile trail loop that features several lookouts. The trail does allow dogs but ensure they are on a leash. Beautiful hike with plenty to see.

The Pinnacles (Indian Fort Lookout - 2017) @ Berea KY
This is a majestic areal view from the 'Indian Fort Lookout', one of several mountain top observation points found at The Pinnacles just outside of Berea, KY. It was a cold and brisk mid day hike and the first time I had a chance to shoot some videos using the quadcopter.
I also have a few other aerial videos that I've posted of the other observation points at the Pinnacles and of the Devil's Kitchen, a prehistoric Native American shelter.

This is a little trail that involves a little down climbing, a great view from below the Indian fort lookout, menu verging through a tight crevice, and an exciting climb back up to the top of the lookout! Try this out on your next trip to the pinnacles, but please be safe!

Driving from Richmond, Kentucky to Berea, Kentucky on US 25
US 25 continues to run northward, passing through Berea. South of Richmond, US 25 meets US 421, which begins a long concurrency with US 25, and the two routes go around Richmond on a bypass. North of Richmond, US 25/US 421 runs concurrently with I-75 to cross the Kentucky River.
