Experience Bergen and the fjords in winter
There are lots of things to do in Bergen (Norway) in winter season.
Winter is a great time to see the world famous fjords, enjoy the many concerts and shows in the city or explore Mount Fløyen or Ulriken.
Fjord cruises:
Take a fjord cruise from Bergen to idyllic Mostraumen, through Osterfjorden, with steep mountains and beautiful waterfalls. The trip takes 3 hours and starts at Zachariasbryggen, right next to the Fish Market.
If you want to take a longer trip, Norway’s most popular roundtrip, Norway in a Nutshell, is recommended. The combination of the UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord, The Bergen Railway and the world famous Flåm Railway makes this a unique experience. The trip takes 9 hours, and starts at Bergen Railway Station.

Norway Winter Adventure - Bergen, Cabin by the Fjord, and Huskies!
We went to Norway for a few days in December. Explored the city of Bergen, stayed in a cabin by the Naeroyfjord and rode a husky dog sled in Geilo.

Things to do in Bergen Norway: a Winter fjord cruise (subtitled)
One of the best things to do whilst in Bergen (in Winter) is go on a 'Norway in a Nutshell ®' cruise and the famous Flåmsbana Railway. The tour reveals stunning scenery that leaves one in no doubt as to why Norwegian Blue parrots - made famous by Monty Python - pine for the fjords. This short (tongue-in-cheek) film begins the journey at Bergen, travelling to Voss, past the Tvinnefossen waterfall, to Gudvangen and the beautiful Nærøyfjord, to Flåm and through the valley up towards Myrdal before heading back to Bergen - all in one day.

Fjord Safari & Brazilian BBQ in Bergen, Norway
We went on a Fjord Safari in Bergen Norway!
In this couple vlog we're out on new adventures - and this time we tried a high-speed RIB boat trip in the fjords of Bergen, Norway. The trip was with the company Fjordguiding and it lasted for an hours (including getting dressed in the survival suits and getting a safety brief)
After our Fjord safari our hunger spiked and we went dining. We decided on the Brazilian BBQ-restaurant Brasilia where we had the Buffé all you can eat choice.

The video begins as I sail down Hjeltefjorden Fjord toward Bergen on the Sea Princess. Bergen is one of the wettest places in the world so the bright sunshine overhead was a nice bonus for this beautiful city. After docking near the city center I started my tour of the city. The first stop on the tour is Fløibanen, a funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen where there are spectacular views of the city. Fløibanen is Bergen's biggest tourist attraction and one of Norway's most visited sights. It is the only funicular cable car for passengers in Scandinavia. After descending from the mountain I explored the city center of Bergen on my own on foot. At the end of the video we set sail on the Sea Princess up the Byfjorden Fjord and under the Askøy Bridge away from Bergen.

Travel to Norway to see amazing Norwegian fjords. One of the best things to do in Norway is to go hiking to Norwegian outdoors. Nature in Norway is amazing! There are so many beautiful places and Lysefjord is one of them. You can camp in Norway pretty much anywhere. Pic your the most beautiful place and put a tent. Many tourists visiting Norway come on cruise ships and stay in big cities and miss awesome beauty of Norwegian outdoors. Adventure travel is a big plus for tourism in Norway. I just got back from 6 months in Asia. Before heading home to my family in Florø, I made a quick stop in Bergen. I figured I could make this Bergen mini guide for you guys. Hopefully, it will give you a few useful tips if you make your way over here.
I honestly love Bergen, it’s my favorite city in Norway. There is so much to do there, but we just had two days, and this video is a summary of what we did.
