Our trip continues from Oslo to Bergen. A beautiful city, Bergen has so much to offer for tourists. Here I have complied the top 6 Bergen's attractions from our 2 days at Bergen. So many things to see in and around Bergen - warmest Norwegian country. Bergen is called as “gateway to the fjords”, so don’t miss visiting the fjords.

It was such a great experience to visit Norway for 10 days in July snow, wildlife,(which is considered as summer in that part of the world, which could be quite cold for other parts of the world) and explore the best of each of Norway, an amazing but a very expensive country. We went to Oslo, Bergen and from Bergen we did a 5 day road trip into total wilderness of Norway including fjords, mountains, lakes etc. Each destination was very unique and for photographers and nature lovers, this is the place to be in Summer. Thank you for the memories, Norway! I'll be back someday to explore you more.

Bergen in what i think is the 30s or earlier. In one of the clips there is a building on fire and the ruins of brick buildings that i first though was from the second world war, but its probably from the great fire of 1916. This is some footage of my last citytrip (27th of February, 2018) to Bergen in Norway. I really liked this city, especially its location in the fjords. I've never seen a combination of city and nature like there.

I apoligize for the bad quality of my drone back there. Unfotunately, I didn't notice untill i saw the footage back home. Nevertheless, i still like the footage, so i decided to still put it in my video.

1930s NORWAY TRAVELOGUE OSLO BERGEN 76364

Dating from the 1930s, NORWEGIAN SKETCHES profiles the nation of Norway, beginning with its capitol of Oslo. The National Theater and historic downtown is seen, as well as the national university. The fjords of Norway are explored at the 2 minute mark, as well as Bergen with its old city gate and strong fishing industry. The film presents many beautiful images of the countryside, with its farmers and farms. Ice climbing is seen at the 7:45 mark, with hikers ascending a sheer wall of a glacier, and a local wedding is seen at the 8 minute mark.

Norway is a sovereign and unitary monarchy whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula plus Jan Mayen and the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, The Antarctic Peter I Island and the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island are dependent territories and thus not considered part of the Kingdom. Norway also lays claim to Queen Maud Land, about one fifth of the Antarctic landmass. Until 1814, the Kingdom included the Faroe Islands (since 1035), Greenland (1261), and Iceland (1262).

Bergen, Norway 4K

Bergen is a city on the southwest coast of Norway. The surrounding landscape is dominated by mountains and fjords, including the Sognefjord, the deepest and longest fjord in the country. In the district of Bryggen are colorful wooden houses on the old jetty, which was once a stronghold of the mighty Hanseatic League. The Fløibanen funicular takes you to the Fløyen mountain plateau, which offers panoramic views and hiking trails. The famous composer once lived in Edvard Grieg House.

Bergen in a breath - travel film

I traveled to Norway a couple weeks ago for the first time and I decided to shoot everything I could in 48h. This is my first travel film. I attempted to capture the magic of this city through the lens of my compact cameras. Bergen is such a beautiful city, it is hard to look around and not finding beauty or hyper-dramatic scenery.A big shout-out to my new friend Lars which helped me with the voice over! Tusen takk!
